SMART Fixes.

NEW SRL INCLUDES THE NEW SMART!To fix some of the more annoying errors, delete your SMART.scar and ALL of the plugins folder. Then, redownload SRL.
PLEASE NOTE:It has come to my attention that SMART v4 is not working as it used to. Do not post asking why, as I cannot tell you. Ben will update in due time.
Another note, do NOT use Visual Tool Tip to view SMART while it runs, it causes the canvas to become active, and in turn, activate/change. It will cause SMART to stop working and you will have to restart your script.For your worlds.ini, here is the necessary parser! :)
Mixster's World ParserFirstly, Replace SMART.scar with this:function IsKeyDown(C:Char): Boolean;
begin
Result := SmartIsKeyDown(ord(c));
end;
procedure MoveMouse(x, y: Integer);
begin
SmartMoveMouse(x, y);
end;
procedure HoldMouse(x, y: Integer; left: Boolean);
begin
SmartHoldMouse(x, y, left);
end;
procedure ReleaseMouse(x, y: Integer; left: Boolean);
begin
SmartReleaseMouse(x, y, left);
end;
procedure KeyUp(key: Byte);
begin
If Key = 13 Then
Key := 10;
SmartReleaseKey(key);
end;
procedure KeyDown(key: Byte);
begin
If Key = 13 Then
Key := 10;
SmartHoldKey(key);
end;
procedure SendKeys(S: String);
begin
SmartSendKeys(S);
end;
procedure GetMousePos(var x, y: Integer);
begin
SmartGetMousePos(x, y);
end;
function GetColor(x, y: Integer): Integer;
begin
result:= SmartGetColor(x, y);
end;
procedure SmartSetTarget;
var
Smart_Bitmap: Integer;
begin
Smart_Bitmap:= BitmapFromString(765,503,'');
GetBitmapCanvas(Smart_Bitmap).Handle:= SmartGetDC;
SetTargetBitmap(Smart_Bitmap);
FreeBitmap(Smart_Bitmap);
end;
function FindWindow(Title: String): Boolean;
begin
result:= true;
end;
procedure ActivateClient;
begin
end;
function FindWindowBySize(Width, Height: Integer): Boolean;
begin
result:= true;
end;
// SRL Development Team
procedure SmartSetupEx(worldnumber: integer; members, signed, superdetail: boolean);
var
prefix: string;
begin
prefix := ReadINI('World' + IntToStr(worldnumber), 'Prefix', AppPath + 'includes\SRL\SCSS\worlds.ini');
if(prefix = '')then
begin
writeln('Invalid world number or corrupted world list. Please review your settings');
TerminateScript;
end;
SmartSetup('http://'+prefix+'.runescape.com/', 'plugin.js?param=o0,a' + IntToStr((Integer(not(Signed)) + 1) * Integer(not((SuperDetail and Signed)))) + ',m' + IntToStr(Integer(Members)));
end;
Procedure SaveScreenshot(s : string);
var

TempS : String;
begin;
Temps := s;
While FileExists(Temps) do
begin;
Temps := ExtractFilePath(s) + Copy(ExtractFileName(Temps),1,LastPos('.',ExtractFileName(Temps))-1) + '2' + ExtractFileExt(s);
Writeln(Temps);
end;
TempBMP := BitmapFromString(765,503,'');
Try
CopyClientToBitmap(TempBMP,0,0,765,503);
SaveBitmap(TempBMP, Temps);
Except
end;
FreeBitmap(TempBMP);
end;
To Load SMART, just switch SmartSetup in your script with SmartSetupEx using the new parameters, after replacing the SMART.scar with the one posted here and replacing the Embedded_SMART.dll with the one attached.
Usage:
In most scripts, you need to replace something like:
SmartSetup('world2', True, True, False);
wait(5000);
SetTargetDC(SmartGetDC);
repeat
wait(100);
until(SmartGetColor(253, 233)<>1118604);
If the script you are fixing, already uses SMARTSetupEx, then the easy fix it to just change the trues and falses to how you would like them.
Here are the Parameters: SMARTSetupEx(WorldNum :
Integer; Members, Signed, SuperDetail:
Boolean);
Here is an example of it being called.
SMARTSetupEx(2, False, True, False);
Wait(5000);
SetTargetDC(SmartGetDC);
repeat
wait(100);
until(SmartGetColor(253, 233)<>1118604);
The File attached is the new Embedded_SMART.dll. Just unrar it and place it inside the PLUGINS folder in scar. You MUST delete the old one, or move it to a different folder. I take no credit for fixing the .dll, that was Benland. You must restart scar after replacing the Plugin!
Now, to use SMART.
- Close all open SCAR and SMART windows
- Reopen a SMART script
- Run the script, as soon as SMART opens minimize it
- DO NOT activate SMART until you are done macroing, or SCAR has said it is finished, it will cause it to mess up.
Enjoy.
Cheers! :)

Remember that Embedded_Smart.dll is a plugin, and is loaded when SCAR is first loaded.
After you copy the dll into the Plugins folder, you need to close SCAR completely, and then reload it to allow SCAR to use the new plugin correctly.

If this is v4 it is NOT completely fixed yet. No matter what I've done after you run it for awhile SMART loses focus & you can click inside the SMART client even though its enabled (blocked from clicking).
While using reflection after about 5 minutes of use I get a fatal error and have to close SCAR.
The first case is happening repeatedly to those I've talked to on irc. The second could be my testing but I'm sure is related to the new client.
Hate to say this but SMART is not completely fixed nor in a usable state over 20 minutes of usage.
(I was on irc when Ben sent it to us, so yes I've tried redoing everything etc. to solve various problems.)

wait(5000);
SetTargetDC(SmartGetDC);

wait(100);

Yeah, that is apparently a new feature, when its active, the users mouse gains control, but IMO, thats stupid.

What I mean is that the script stopped after that because it no longer had control over the mouse :\ At least it seemed that way, I'll try again.
No its a common bug, after the runescape client has loaded (SMART) It hands control back to the user. Without continuing.

That means he used LoadSmart to load his smart. Lol.
In the Ess Miner script, find a function named LoadSmart. Change it to LodeSmart. Then, find every place in his script where it says LoadSmart and change it to LodeSmart. Then, go back and add in where you want to call LoadSmart(2, True, True);

Voice, I'm getting the exact same error when I try to use it.
Two things:
A. You make no sense to me.
B. If I understood you correctly - That will not work.
I have LoadSmart(2, True, False); and it tells me invalid parameters. Wanna know the funny thing? IT ISN'T IN THE SCRIPT. It has nothing to do with the script that's being run, afaik. It's in Smart.scar, on line 109.

Okay, so SMART is working for me as of right now, the embedded smart comes up and all. But its acting real buggy. I realize the enable/disable smart button isn't working as of right now to my understanding…
But is there a reason that none of the scripts I update are reading that Runescape is fully loaded? Its loading at about 40 seconds, then it sits there for the other twenty or so and tells me it never loaded, so the script terminates.
Help Please?

For now I suggest running scripts without SMART until it's working fully.
Just remove the SMART parts of the script, target RS while logged in and hit go.(Narcle for the win.)

Riffe, please don't spam. You should know, that SMART behaves the EXACT same way that a regular script works.
Try not to ask silly questions, when you know the answer. And when they are off topic.
For the person who can't log in. You need to make sure you have the latest rev, these SMART fixes, and that SMART is minimized immediately. :)

IMO, After doing some tests, I would call it after the first LoginPlayer. So after that call:
LoginPlayer;
Wait(RandomRange(1000, 1500));
DisplayDebugImgWindow(766, 506);
ShowClient;
...
You only need to call the show client procedure once, and if you want the debug window to show anything, you need to call that display. :)
P.S. You can remove that commented out procedure. :)
No guarantees as to how long that will run though.

I think your problem was that you still had the old plugin in the same folder as the new one. SCAR doesn't pick and choose which ones to load - it loads all of them. So when you tried to call SmartSetup, it must've picked the old one instead of the new one.

Also please bear in mind that the SMART dll attached here has a slightly different filename to the existing one.
The default name withing the plugings directory is: Embedded SMART.dll
whereas the dll attached to this thread has a filename of: Embedded_SMART.dll
note the addition of the underscore instead of a space.
To make sure all functions work correctly either rename the dll from this thread to match and overwrite the original or delete the original. either way works but having both files within the plugins directory may cause problems.

No from and idea n3s, expanded it:
1. When SMART pops up click somewhere else on the desktop.
2. Watch it, DONT minimize SMART you can click on it and stuff.
3. You can do other things whilst NOt minimizing it, like miniclip(make sure the window isn't maximized or SMART loses focus) :).

it seems to eb working, but when i sstart it, it says "Invalid number of parameters in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\srl\srl\misc\smart.scar"
That means that your plugin is messed up, make sure that you didn't leave the old plugin in the plugins folder, as it will read both plugins and that's not good
it says
Line 85: [Error] (85:33): Invalid number of parameters in script C:\Documents and Settings\Administer\Skrivbord\SRL\SRL\misc\Smart.Scar
And the line 85 says is:
SMARTSetupEx(False, True, False);
O, and btw.. i dont know why it says
C:\Documents and Settings\Administer\Skrivbord\SRL\SRL\misc\Smart.Scar
Shouldnt it be:
C:\Program\SCAR 3.15\Includes\SRL\SRL\misc/Smart.Scar
Please help =\

Ok I'll post the changes that I made, not the whole script since this isn't a Junior Mem section.
First off, the main loop:
procedure setupScript;
begin
cleardebug;
writeln(' = ');
writeln(' =|= FFFFFf ');
writeln(' ==|== Ff ');
writeln(' ==|== FFFf ');
writeln(' ==|== Ff orefeathers ');
writeln(' ==|== Ff ');
writeln(' =|= by munk');
writeln(' |');
SMARTSetUpEx(SmartWorld, False, True, False); {WorldNum : Integer; Members, Signed, SuperDetail: Boolean}
Wait(5000);
SetTargetDC(SMARTGetDC);
setupsrl;
ScriptID:='362';
if (yourSRLID <> '') then SRLID := yourSRLID;
if (yourSRLPW <> '') then SRLPassword := yourSRLPW;
mousespeed:=20+random(5);
declareplayers;
wait(500);
end;
Then the includes:
program forefeathers;
{.include srl/srl/misc/smart.scar}
{.include srl/srl.scar}
Last I added a constant so you can choose the world you want to auto in.
const
dbug=false;
directionToRun='E';
yourSRLID='';
yourSRLPW='';
SmartWorld=81;
That is everything I changed and it works fine. I had a 15 hour proggie but my computer froze and I lost it :(

Lol. Just edit your posts so only one shows. It sometimes never chooses the world but it is more random than having the world hard coded into the smart startup. I can do that, since you are a Junior mem. I don't know what the difference will be tho. Also, did you do all of the smart fixes? Even minimizing it?

Download the attached Embedded_Smart.dll and rename it to Embedded Smart.dll. Delete the one in your plugins folder, and place the one you just downloaded into it. Try recopying your Embedded_Smart.dll, also, you need to make sure you did everything right.
Did you restart scar?

This is because of the recent update. The login text changed slightly.
You have to change line 331 in login.scar
change: while (GetColor(343, 174) <> 7750) do
to: while (GetColor(343, 175) <> 7750) do
Dude, thank you so much! i had that problem and ur fix worked perfectly!

SMARTSetUpEx(SmartWorld, False, True, False); {WorldNum : Integer; Members, Signed, SuperDetail: Boolean}
That should do it

Delete your Smart.scar and re-download SRL from the SVN repository. It's an error that happens sometimes when downloading a new revision and should be fixed if you try again.
