I've noticed some new armor for free world people: Corrupted Dragon.


Like Dragon, but with Corrupted in front. Armor set is slightly different. Haven't been able to get my hands on one.


Anybody know more about it? I've checked RuneHQ and nothing.

It disappears after 30 minutes, it has the same stats as the normal armor.

So you waste 100k for a fake dragon sword for 30 minutes?

It's basically for f2p people to get a chance to use one of these items probably so it makes them more interested to become a member.

O good job i was gunna buy 1 when i was buying a d scim i seen a corrupted 1 i thought i will try and buy 1 but nope no look lol i wonder how to get them what monsters drop em?

It's a possible reward for the new PvP.

I think they are trying to show f2p members what they can get in p2p, kinda cheap if you ask me.

by allowing you to hit over 25 in f2p….lol

I saw some guy that had bought his, he was showing off around a small group and I walked over and laughed at him. That is basically the stupidest thing too buy if you aren't able to keep it. What is it good for other than enticing new people for members?

Not only do they disappear, but I don't think the corrupted dragon weapons have specials. Imagine f2pers trying to figure out why dragon daggers are so awesome.

But they still are superior compared to the good old rune scimmy in f2p..
In my opinion they are great add to f2p pking.

Dragon armour was never meant to be for F2P, and never should have been. But now Jagex have been idiots and given it to them. The main factor about becoming P2P for most people was getting Dragon armour.

Oh relax already. You pay 5 dollars a month for membership to this silly game. If Jagex wants to let the f2p people have their fun, well let them, no harm, no foul.

I think corrupted armour is pointless especially for the money people sell it at, 30 minutes use is not very helpful. And i agree with R1CH4 dragon armour shouldnt have been given to f2p. Members are the only people who should get it because they pay for the exclusive rs content not f2p who pay nothing

It seems a bit silly that people will pay that much, but it does give members a chance to try certain items out before they pay the full price.

If CDD had spec, I'd have raped the entire f2p world by now :p

The C drag weps can be used as finishers, since they are stronger then rune. Otherwise they are a waste of money. A guy in full c dragon armor will still get hit pretty hard by f2p mages -_-.

Well, they didnt make a corrupt whip/d2h. Maybe C D Scimmy is useful as a finisher, but I doubt that =/

Whip is not a dragon weapon, but yeah, without specials these weapons are trashy and a waste of money. Though C dragon b axe could be used for a finisher, it's stronger than a rune 2h.

EDIT:Wow, I just noticed they added corrupt Morrigan's armor and his wepon.

It's a drop from PVP worlds.

It's a drop, but they can be bought from the GE for almost the same price of normal d weps, except you can only use them for 30 minutes, without specials too. So that proves the point I'm trying to get across.

So C-dragon is not worth it.
