Honestly?! Why do Jagex keep on doing this? First they gave the Duel Arena to F2P, then more accessories, and now Dragon weapons?!

1) Corrupt Dragon weapons look almost the same as normal ones do

2) They have the same stats

3) F2P can even use special attacks

4) F2P players don't have to do any quests to use these weapons

5) Rich F2P players (and I'm talking 100 mils) could use these as normal Dragon weapons, as they disintegrate after 30 minutes

6) They don't have to pay any money to be able to use these, of course!

How can this be fair towards P2P players? It can't be. Over the months, Jagex has been making P2P more worthless by giving it all to F2P, yet making i more expensive. Now F2P players with 2 mil can go strutting around with their Blue Phat that they borrowed, and their corrupt (fake) Full Dragon, with people gawping at them, when the real rich people (liek meh) look exactly the same…

Another bad move by Jagex…? Discuss.

If only P2P monsters drop those parts, idc. Or do F2P monsters drop them to? That would be a shame.

30 mins isn't a very long time, and a huge waste of money imo, but i can understand some people might like it.

Yes, Phats can be borrowed, and I believe that F2P monsters do Corrupt weapons, but I know 100% they are a reward in the new PvP worlds. And it lasts for 30 minutes of wielding time, not owning it.

Those could be quite useful atleast dragon dagger spec, but you cant get enough valuable drops in 30mins f2p

since its 30 mins weilded time, not owned (so i heard) you can just rune scimmy another 1def noob then all the sudden… RAWR DD SPEC PWNT N00B. that would be pretty messed up imo…. and if you only use the dd to spec k0 people, then you can get enough drops to make up for price.

does the time limit keep on going if traded? if it reset, just give trade your friend and trade back

Uh, it's the complete opposite.

People use this Corrupt stuff, and it wants them to become P2P because it's the same as regular Dragon, without disintegration.


And I have a feeling Pest Control is going to become F2P soon…

Actually, it's good that JaGex Ltd are doing something for F2P, after everything they do for P2P! You guys are still lucky! You get those Mini-quests, we don't! You get more quests, we don't! And it can still go on!

It's a good update IMO, and maybe this way, it'll convince more F2P to become a member cos' of those good "trial" weapons. ;)

Who cares? 3k max stake makes it pretty pointless. I think I tried it once when it was first introduced.

we also pay $10 a month though.

These weps are so annoying I use to pk in non member worlds cause they didnt have weps that one hit you and their pks were kinda easier but not some str pure can get dds and own you quickly ( if they got good hits )

I don't see why they should get all that stuff for free. We have to work and pay for all that stuff.

Doesn't really matter. It's not "free", its a way for jagex to let you actually make a profit out of these things. If you haven't noticed, the dragon weapons sell for 100k+ a pop. And congratz jakeyboy on being member O.o when did that happen? I haven't been on the forum much lately.

These corrupt things really are dumb. I've paid membership for my dragon st00fs for years. I dont want people to have an equal-stat equal-looking free alternative.

These items only last for 30 minutes. I don't see why people are complaining. The f2p can't walk around bragging about their dragon items like you members do because it will disappear before he can use it. The f2p might get one kill from each weapon if he is lucky, and the actual kills per weapon is probably like .5 if not lower. So really, these things are far from being actual dragon weapons.

Well like someone said, people could buy these for the specials only. A Corrupt Dagger is about 45k now, and all he has to have is a good strength level to weaken someone, and then BAM, special them and they're dead.

U CAN'T SPEC WITH THIS IN F2P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
