OK I made this because I wanna see how much people here likes SMART and Supports Benland100.

In my opinion I admire Benland's work, SMART is an awsome tool for all of us , SRL community , Programmers and Autoers…

I would like to see opinions from you guys.

bah! reflection is great… color/reflection=pwnage but reflection is flawless except for updates and even then its not down very long =/

Reflection is kinda smart :p without Smart there is no reflection, but if you have reflection there is smart…

I never used SMART because my "Auto-Computer" (I got 2 computers, one i use for crash test course (Like Autoing, etc…) and one i use for other stuff.)
But SMART IS awsome because you can do stuff while autoing. Which is x20 better than Nexus..

Yeah! , to realize that all you have to do is use it, 2 of the coolest experiences Ive had using Scar:

-First time I managed to make a script work and auto for me , I couldnt keep my mouth shut because of the amazement of watching it do everything for me :D changed my gaming life :)

-Second time, when I first used SMART, watching how I could auto while doing any other stuff on the same computer :D

If this is just a thread to make Benland100 feel appreciated, your just making our chances go down of him updating it.

I think smart is good - but that is NOT my opinion of this topic.

Without SMART, SRL would become the worst well-known macro. And if we would try defending SRL without SMART, we'd be completely outmatched with RSBot 2 coming out soon.

You guys act as if SRL cannot survive without SMART. It has for a long time… People are just dependent on it now.

Yeah, I'm sorry, and it's sad to say this, but I think that if SMART doesn't get updated, RSBot2 will overtake…

SMART is a killer,

I see why people would use smart etc..such as for when your doing an assingment and you wanna pplay runescape at the same time, on general i WOULDNT do this, becasue your mind wouldn't be focusing that well on your work anyway, my second point is that if your in bed SLEEPING or at SCHOOL why use it?

So the only things you use your computer for is RS and homework? And nobody else every goes on that computer? If autoing wasn't minimizable I wouldn't auto at all.

First I thought reflection was like t3h s3x… But now I kinda mislike it…
If you make a walking script you now need like 20 lines <.>

Actully i play WoW as well. (lvl 70 nelf druid dath remar ) and btw my dad works on computers in his spare time (hes a teacher) so we ALL have our own computers in our room, so yeah. no one else touches my computer.

Well, in that case I can see why you don't mind not using SMART, but most of us aren't as fortunate and don't have more than 1 or 2 computers that we can use, meaning that SMART is necessary to auto :p

yeah we are pretty lucky sometimes :p if anyone here plays WoW add me eh..

VMs are too resource hungry (my comp struggles to run one whereas it doesn't struggle as much to run 2 SMARTs). I don't think I'd go back to VMs and stress my computer for SRL, I'd use another macro.

In other words, being the most popular cheating method would mean being the most targeted by jagex.

Also, no matter who overtakes who in terms of number of users or features, SRL will always have the best community for scripters, which is a good thing.

I love it, it makes it so much easier to bot and you can use the computer while your botting!

I will completely agree with that… I admire and support Ben. Yes, SMART is an awesome tool. I would really like to know more about it though and how to make something of the sort. If I missed a tut … my bad.. thanks though.

smart owns, and reflection is just brining srl *when its added* into a new era. colors were good for a while.. but there is a big reason why rsbot is flourishing a little more.

reflection = the future.

Reflection won't be added to SRL (by default) anytime soon. And that's the way it should be IMO.

The official statement is that SRL will not support reflection officially, it's maintaining is on the reponsibility of the users of it. However, principles won't stop SRL from advancing, if RuneScape will ever advance as much as making our color functions obsolete, I'd say if we have to, we'll start living like other autoing communities, reflection mostly used and every RS update day and maybe the following one too is a pause from autoing.

Man, I don't know what to say.. It's your choice if you want to fix SMART.

But why come and make such an awesome program keep it going for so long, then just let it die away? Like seriously, I know you probably have alot of other more important things in life to do.

But from the goodness of your heart and from all the people who love you here at SRL, I'm not asking you to fix SMART, I'm begging you. :(

Well it drasticly help the way us Autoers are kept safe, thanks :)

smart is great and i love it cuz i can watch all my shows and movies while autoing but i doubt Ben is obvlivious…. at this point i dont think he will fix it for anyone, instead maybe you (and me too) should just ask him where to start…do it ourselves and im sure he'll come around once he knows we're complelty stuck at like hwat? 23%? lol jk but it wont hurt to try… wonder how he did it? c++??? what is it made with? couldnt one (even though its un ethical) decompile it?
