After you have been placed into the "grade" bracket, you have the ability to increase your chances of getting more valuable Grade A, B, or C items.
Factors that increase your chances include: your Combat level, your opponents' Combat level, how long you have survived in a dangerous area on the PvP world, how many players you have killed on the PvP world recently, and whether you are in a hot zone.
