ok so i might be getting a iPhone soon but i have a tough decision
should i get it on contract where i will pay a total of £600 or should i wait about 10 months and get it for £400 on payg (pay as you go)?

it is a tough decision and i need to know what to do because if i do go with the contract then i will be getting it tomorow

what do you think i should get ?
contract or payg?

Contract means you can call also? If so I would go for contract.

Not worth paying 200£ more to get it right now. Not that amazing.

0_0 why is is so expencive? Cell phones are rediculous in europe, i could get an iphone here for 250$ or so and pay like 60$ a month for a plan…

well i have used a friends and it seems quite amazing

and if i do go for payg then i am going to have to find somewhere to get £400 from or save up for 10 months

if you are gonna talk alot then get a plan, if you dont talk much, then pay as you go

I have an IPhone. I dont like it. It's a pain typing, its a sloooow browser, it has shabby uLaw encoding (for phonecalls), the batteries are out within 4 hours and on top it holds like an brick. And I am stuck with the machine for at least one year, lol…

Go with the contract, it'll cost less in the long run.

Contract, much more realiable then some of the companies that do payg.

neithor… one of my friends has an iphone and he hates it… another almost bought one and after testing/trying it out decided it was a waste of money… 600 is definately not worth it… you could just wait a little and get google's new phone..

I'd say contract but it all depends on your provider and what kind of plans you can get. If you're in Canada then don't bother, Rogers has terrible plans at the moment. If you're going to get an iPhone imo you need unlim data.

i will get unlimited data and internet and wifi

Also, apple has made iPhone look good just because of marketing so it's somehow "trendy" to get an iPhone so all mass teens would kill for one (same with iPods, they suck ass compared to some other players, but people think they don't). I've personally tried one (my classmate has one) and I'm not amused. Just read what's in the link, or if it's too hard just scroll to the comparison part, you'll see it's not that great.
