A 10 day ban? I see the user disabled message expecting to have to go looking for an appeal and all I get is a 10 day ban. It's not the best account ever, only 2 stats over 90 (93 range 93 mage) but worth having. I was expecting banning but just wanted to have a go anyways =P. FYI I was auto alching!

Haha nice one, I was expecting a full ban.

They seem to be much more lenient towards autoing these days. I have a pure with 98 mage and 97 ranged that got banned twice in a month and a half. Both of which were only 10 day bans. I dont plan on taking anymore chances however…

Members they basic slap you on the rest and say lets not cheat now joey. Free people get the ban hammer

Exactly. I just had two F2P guys perm banned for macroing a couple of weeks ago. And they were in a 6 player rotation (other 4 didn't get banned O_o) so it wasn't like I was autoing with them too much. I'm guessing I got reported on those 2.

i just got off a 10 day ban for autoing 99 fletching :) weirdly i have no black marks either :)

I got a 10 day ban for auto alching today, its my 2nd 10 day ban for breaking rule 7, last time i got it when using Hy's cave runner. This time i was expecting the worst, but got reliefed when i saw the 10 day text. This happened on my barrows "pure", 99 str (autoed), 90 att (legit), 70 def, 90 mage (74-90 autoed in a couple of days).

The simple repeating tasks they catch you fairly easily… I'm on my 5th 10 day ban… I've been auto smelt/cball making in a very remote place. Its just too easy to auto I think. …But yeah 5th 10 day ban.

When i used my Smart i just macroed 7-9H day:)
If you are online 24/7 someone gonna misstake you and "REPORT" you and you get 10Days "Ban" so stop Macro so much:)

Woot got a 10 day BAN on my main today for Breaking Rule 7.
(91 att, 99 str, 88 def)
Thats what you get i suppose when your player comes accross 3 Mods in 5 minutes.
Going to kool off with the running of Scripts and make a couple instead…

Wow I feel pathetic my main got banned (71attk, 76str, 70def) but you guys make my main seem like a little unfinished pure and I have played 4 years :D but I am gonna try appealing it.

I was in my house so nobody could see me and I was not alching 24/7 I was only using it about 10-12 hours a day (alot but like I said, only test account so not bothered about it getting banned).

I don't blame it on the script, I forgot to check it sometimes and so it would run out of alchs and click all over the place, totally my fault lol plus I was running it for quite long stints, your script worked great and I only need to do about 25 mins of alching and I will have gone from 67-94 with your script in about 7 days of using it =P.

MOUSE RECORDER! lol that's terrible. If I got an account of someone I disliked and wanted to get them banned, that is what I'd use! :duh:

Well…My account was F2P got unbanned, also I had a F2P account which got a ten day ban. But maybe that was because it was a members before.

I have macro'd for 12 hours straight on one account once, no ban here :p

If you macro 12 hours a day, once in a month, then it's obvious, that you won't get banned.

i was a member for about 1 year, then i quit for summer and didnt bother renewing subscribtuion, so i autoed and gto a 2 day ban i was like WTF never heard of 2 ban for #7

Dang! Only two days? Lucky lol. I got a perma ban for my f2p skiller :|

How many players does runescape have these days? 8 Million registered accounts? Well guys there are 10,000 if not 5,000 autoers out of all of them. I wouldn't care that much either especially since the 5,000 can not really effect anyone else…

At least that is how I see it.

12hours in day time isn't really too much, consider the fact some times I played WAY more than that lol

I havent autoed at all in like 2 years. The main account i used to auto was just banned a few weeks ago. Wow jagex, no offense, but ur kinda slow lol.

Im surprised u only got 10 day ban. Maybe Jagex is too desperate for players…

I just appealed on one of my accounts with this:

My main (which sucks) I played legit until I found out about bots =D. I never made it a mem, I just wanted to be a rich noob without investing any money in it. My first ban was a 5 blackmark ban of 10 days, 2nd and 3rd were also 10 day bans, now it has 92 wc and I am not going to auto on it anymore.

Tell it to my pure that I ran for 4 days straight usiong Hy's caverunner (Didn't get banned for that, but when I ran my curser 8 hours straight, I got a 10 day ban with 0.5 blackmarks).

What's the point of macroing if you don't want to level fast?

All of my f2p accounts that have been banned were permanently banned after one breaking of rule 7. Never once has a f2p of mine been giving another chance. My members accounts on the other hand have been giving up to four ten day bans and then finally a permanent ban. Perhaps I am just unlucky when it comes to f2p accounts. :mad:

And I would say 10+ hours a day is a bit of overkill. I typically aim for 3-4 hours (looks like a 'normal' amount of game time) for Monday-Friday and then maybe 5 hours or so on Saturday and then an extra two at night. I mean, you have to think, it is kind of obvious if you have a player playing for 8+ hours at a time, who can do that? Especially with the repetition runescape requires. Click…click….click….click….8 hours?!?! Come on! Bust your brain trying to high alch for that long in one sitting!

All F2p accounts get perm-bans :p All P2p accounts get 10-day bans (with the exception of the vikrant60's and those that were F2P but were members before).

I think their new generosities coming from the lack of members. After they made the 3k trade limit and took away pking, the last thing they want to do is lose anymore revenue. You're running an online fantasy game Andrew Gower not a government. I think this is also the reason for the shop they've opened and the new membership cards.

When I used to use scar the most was 8 hours every night for a week or two. 80 hours in a week is huge lol, good job.

The second time you will auto 80hours you will get a perm ban remember that lol

80 hours a week? That's quite a lot of time autoing, surprised you only got a 10 day ban, my account got a perm ban a while back.

The only offence I have ever had on Runescape EVER is a 12 hour mute.
