Like the title says, How to find an objects UID and Type.

Alright, you MUST have the tiles of the object, you must be logged in when getting the UID, and you must be able to see the tile.

Run this script in scar with SMART disabled
Hit F2 when you want to find the object.
program UIDandTYPE;
{.include srl/srl/misc/smart.scar}
{.include srl/srl.scar}
{.include srl/srl/reflection/reflection.scar}
Const
SmartWorld = 127;
XTile = 0000; //The X tile of the object
YTile = 0000; //The Y tile of the object

Var
MySpot: UID;
begin
SetupSRL;
SmartSetupEx(SmartWorld, True, True, false);
Wait(1000);
SetTargetDC(SmartGetDC);
While not (IsFKeyDown(2)) do wait(100);
repeat
if IsFKeyDown(2) then
begin
MySpot := GetObjectAt(XTile, YTile)
WriteLn('The object''s UID is ' + inttostr(MySpot.UID.High) + inttostr(MySpot.UID.Low));
WriteLn('The Object''s type is ' + inttostr(MySpot.objType));
end;
wait(500);
Until(False);
end.

I hope this helps for object finding with reflection! :p

It says the same thing for every time. :(

The object's UID is -1-1
The object's type is 2147483647

You need to put in the x/y coord of where your standing in xtile and ytile. Then it should work.

reflection has broke, so now all the tiles will return the same thing
Edit: reflection is fixed

Yea but that was before it broke. And I did put in the x and y coords but do I put it the coords of my character or the object?

The coords of the object, not your character

easier shorter faster way: Download rsBot ;) It shows the id's and tiles on the screen of objects and npcs and all that good jazz.

I know that way is easier, but RSBot doesn't an official download link anymore (I think it broke because rsbot.com isn't there any more)
