Since the trade limit has been increased, why not make a script that logs in 2 different accounts in the same world, one would use a signed java and the other unsigned.
One trades the other, the accepts the trade, one puts up max trade limit and they both accept. Scripts sleeps for 15 mins and does it again.

I have a feeling you would get a high ban percentage, wouldnt really be worth it…

5k per 15 min = 20k per hour + very detectable. I don't know about you but I'd rather just mine a couple inventories of iron on the char I want money on.

You cant have two signed with smart ;O and then you can log in yourself with signed = 3 accounts and that would make you get Ban
