Ok first of all wtf? Why in the hell is it so much now? I recently just got back into RS and when I left all the sites and everyone was like no no it's just a player myth/scam half full wine jugs aren't rare blah blah. I could of swore that I had a couple of those just sittin around not too long ago but I drank them. How long ago did the jugs turn into one drink only and become 32m?

umm around 3-4 months ago :p.

They have been rare for years, just a less known about rare. Like Pumpkins, they are a less desired rare because they can not be displayed. Nice job drinking a few hundred Mill ;).

It's always been a rare, around 10m or such. But ye they rose a bit.

God I feel retarded now lol. I definitely could of been very rich. I think a have one of my first accounts thats banned with a few on him too lol.

I would love to have one of those, they are so rare, then I could sell the gp somewhere.

I remember thinking the same thing when jagex secretley introuduced this into RSC. A friend and I sat in the cooking guild making wine for hours to get 11mil out of nothing lol.

Its because they have more money than sense lol. Remember Micheal Jackson when he was famous for his singing? Spending $1 million a day on anything. He walks into a shop and buys anything and everything!

You could get half-full wine jugs from some P2P quest for a short period of time (can't remember which, but it was a long long long time ago in RSC). Then all of the sudden you couldn't and people started selling them. I remember them being more or less rare back in RSC too. But I'm very sure you could never drink only a half of a wine, it was some special item you could get somewhere :p Quite funny how people just thought "wtf useless wine" and then BAM it's a discontinued (not exactly rare like easter eggs, p hats etc. etc. IMHO).

Sort of same with disc of returnings.. You could visit some area banned people are thrown into and get back with them but as that idea sucked jagex removed the thing but left the discs and suddenly you couldn't get them anywhere..

Anyhow, GG drinking your millions.

E: I think you did get it from a quest, but maybe you could drink half of it too.. On other thought, I think after they changed the wine 1 drink only you could still get it from some quest.. Eeeehhhh… Anyhow…

Wow you drank like 100m…. Which is equal to around 500 usd.

I don't know why people need to have half jug of wine. What's so important about it other than it being rare?

I would like to continue some items such as that, so then you stock up, and they become rare again. A lot of n00bs in runescape don't know what they are doing and they decide to drink it and their like "Oh I drank a half jug of wine today" and I'm like "You drank 30m?" LOL

You have no idea how stick works, its discontinuded, thus the price rises thus profet for them.

People hoard them when they become discontinued which means the price rises. People continue to pay higher and higher prices for them thinking that they can only go up because they are discontinued, in fact I doubt there is anyone who has bought one without investing in mind, except maybe for a pic or vid.

They will crash as phats are, probably worse too as they can't even be worn.

Yea, IMHO rare items are very idiotic. PHats are dropping i think and others will drop as well. I remember I bought a santa when they were 23m (same price as the dfs at the time), and like a month later they were 10m… I play legit a LOT and I'm proud to say I don't own a rare. Level 131's without rares ftw!

Wine jugs turned into 1 drink when RS2 came, they were in 2 shots in rs1 in the time rs2 came.

Back in my day santas were 250k and phats were only a few mil, over only a few years they have increased 10000%+
