Alright, so if you guys have seen my thread about "Is SRL safe?" then you would now that I have theory on how Jagex bans accounts. I am posting this here because I don't want Jagex to find out if this is correct, so here it is.
Couple things you should now:
-I have windows vista, thus random.dat is only in C:/windows/.jagex_cache_32
-I bot… A lot
alright so one day I was botting I started to get many randoms, so I went to delete that random.dat file (At this time, I've had 2 accounts banned) and I looked in loginapplet folder which is in the same folder as random.dat (for vista) and I noticed 2 files called "cache–(random numbers which are the same).dat" I decided to just delete all of the .dat files because I had no idea what they were. (there was another .dat file that i deleted) now when i signed back in, only the other .dat file came back. A couple of days later, I get banned on another one of my accounts, i submit an appeal, and i see that the blackmark was made on September 24. Now I decided to check out that loginapplet folder again, and there was a another cache file (which was modified on the 24th)! so i deleted it.
One day later, I was botting on my last account, and I was about to sign in, when I felt like checking my loginapplet folder, and there was ANOTHER cache file (I haven't logged in yet) and I delete this cache file. when I try to sign in, [H]I'm not banned!! [/H] .
So I have made a theory that jagex saves these cache files while you are playing(they can't just randomly sign you out) and when you try to log back in, this .dat file will send information that the account was banned.
Anyone feel like testing this?
EDIT: the loginapplet folder is in the same folder as your random.dat
