I'm looking to sell me account @ Sythe and I've never sold the account, price checked on Sythe and by Sp0rky to be worth around $100 USD… I've had the account for 2yrs, just got it recovered & want to sell since I don't play Runescape anymore, but also don't want to be scammed. So, basically if you've sold an account at Sythe and have any info I should know about e.g. how to avoid being scammed.

I'm not selling the account here.. Read the entire post by me & selling here is against the rules.

ehh ive sold 3 accs on sythe (all botted 40-60 pures) and i have a training busnies. That acc is probably worth 100USD like youve been told.

@ noidea: I quit RS, so being scammed wouldn't really be bad, however I wouldn't have made any money off the account when I'm looking @ 100USD.

Get on msn or ventrilo bitch!

Try to sell to someone who is well known.
Don't go first.
Paypal = Not very good for it.
Be able to prove you got scammed.
Logs, pics, etc are always good.

Chances are greater than not you will get scammed, remember that.

Use a official MM or have the buyer go first, NEVER go 50/50 nor u go first.

Why is PayPal bad? I've seen a few people there using Western Union & not accepting PayPal.

They can give you the $100 for it off paypal, get the account, change the stuff, wait for a maximum of 30 days, and pull the transfer on you. Can't remember what it is is exactly called, but it's where they mark you as a fake and they get there money back from you.

:o & Western Union doesnt allow you to charge back or whatever?

patpal ok if they charback then cancel it me myself have never sold a account on sythe but bought accounts and have been scammed :S

u appealed level 7 and got away with it? how mate? and on sythe look for vouched people. they wont scam you.

Mate, I can't get on msn at the moment, at uni, port seems temporarily blocked, am on steam friends though.

My steam acc got hacked! (my pass doesn't work & said I couldn't use my Friends List earlier today when I was still logged in since it was being used on another comp or some sh*t) :(

btw just tell them that u REQUIRE the use of a trusted MM, and that they will not get the account info until the paypal transaction clears (usually takes anywhere from 1 - 7 days i think )

thats not worth 100$, no 99 stat (unless you get 99 wc, you can bring the value up), its probally worth 30-50$?

well i have know idea what you are going to do but one of those guys looks determined to buy you're account so I would go with him first because he looks like he is not a total scammer and will take you account. I also am trying to sell an account but not at this moment i will get it a little higher first.

Just have patience, never ever go first.. May take time to find a buyer that way, but atleast you won't be scammed. Always demand either a good MM or the other person going first, and if using paypal have them claim & cancel so they can't take the money back.

insist on either going second or useing a official MM

vidio the trade if you can but if not make sure you take loads of screenshots and save the msn chat ext

just make sure youve got evedence of everything that happens

i sold my pure 92 range, 84 mage, 82 str, 82 hp, 52 pray,40 def

for only 30$….
though it is never a good idea to buy a account from sythe only sell(tho if you scam than no lol)

Ive used sythe alot recently and havent been scammed once? lucky me ^^

After paying via Paypal, I have 20 days to open a case to get my money back, if the item I bought was not as described or I didn't get anything at all.

I bough many things off of ebay and whenever I don't receive what I buy, I open a case and always get my money back. Paypal works best for the person paying not receiving.

I had sold a couple of accounts on cythe. once i had gotten scammed though.

all you do man is post how much ure looking for and use paypal to complete the transaction between you 2….. have the person sign a contract…. stating hes sending you this money for an account and have bolth of you agree. if he scams you you can get him him back.:f:

Ive sold a few accounts on Sythe, been scammed only once, he sent the money through paypal and somehow was able to get it back, by basically saying i didnt go through with my part of the deal, even though i had, so i suggest just using a very trusted MM and not selling to a retard and everything should run smoothly.
