FTab alternative to GameTab

So I know this works in SMART and stuff. Instead of using the mouse to click the tab, this uses the F keys to switch tabs.

Update 10-05-2008: Did some testing in new scripts of mine. Shortened version works awesome.

{*******************************************************************************
function FTab: Boolean;
by: Narcle, shortened by Dans The Man
Description: Uses F keys to get to tab menus
1 - Combat, 2 - Statistics, 3 - Quest Journal, 4 - Inventory,
5 - Equipped, 6 - Prayers, 7 - Magic Spells, 8 - Friends List
*******************************************************************************}
function FTab(Tab: integer): boolean;
begin
if (GetCurrentTab = Tab) then
begin
Result := true;
Exit;
end;
if (Tab > 0) and (Tab < 9) then
TypeByte(111+Tab)
else
srl_Warn('FTab', 'Tab '+inttostr(tab)+' isn''t a valid option.', warn_AllVersions)
Result := GetCurrentTab = Tab;
end;

Do you have more than 12 F tabs on your keyboard?

I think there was a reason why it wasn't put in. Everytime you press a FKey in SMART, SMART also types one random char in or summat.

I've got a keyboard with 15 F-Tabs…
Only 1-12 works anyways… ;D

Great script narcle! Does the smart writes q's when you run it?

If you have more F-Keys, then use the Character code's for them ;)

But why? What is the point of having 15 F-Keys when I only use 12 :p

Aren't there like 14-15 GameTabs or something? How do you get to the extra 2-3 GameTabs with the FKeys?

Tried it, SCAR gave me a error. So I removed them. But according to the key list there is 24 F keys. Also some keyboards do have secondary buttons to push them. Mine has "F mode" which gives all the F keys on my keyboard another option.

Edit:
Try VK_F13 - VK_F24, see if SCAR gives you an error.

Edit2: @ Lee
It never pushed extra letters on me. Worked like its suppose too for me.

Not for me ;)

procedure FTab(FKey: Integer);
begin
if(FKey>0) then
TypeByte(111+FKey);
end;

They used other keys like Home or something I forgot haven't played runescape in a while but I made a thing like this that did all the tabs.

[scar]procedure FTab(FKey: Integer);

Omg is it 111+? I couldn't fricken find the ASCII code for it, only the VK_ stuff for the F keys.

Update.

That wouldn't work, since i can tell by looking at it, since FKey is not declared o_O.

The actual key code for F1 is 112, but you can see what i did for functionality… :p

Haha forgot to change it to Tab :P

And I know, I was trying to do the plus thing before the VK_ keys.
