NOTE AGAIN: This page is under construction. It will probably take over 6 hours to construct when all is said and done, so please don't comment until i'm done (these notes will be gone) as it will take more time for me to finish and remember THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME AN EINSTEIN BY MY NAME FOR NO REASON. So don't think I'm stupid. Several other great scripters, such as tarajunky, the longest and best script holder in my opinion, believes in a God. Probably several others too.
So you believe in evolution. I did too at one point in my life, and I was in a Christian school also. I wouldn't call myself a full fledged atheist at that point, I barely knew what the word meant. However, I knew I was skeptical about a God. Science had proved proved him to be a delusion did it not? How dumb were my teachers anyway. Sacrificing a public school teachers salary which is almost 30% more at all times than a private school teachers, just to stand for a lie? I went through the motions of life, doing what I wanted, not caring at all. However, I found find how naive I was in the days to come.
Let me take some time aside here to say that this article is not meant to hurt feelings. You do not have to share my view. However, please do come here with an open mind. Do not come onto this thread closed-minded and think that I am automatically wrong in my views. I daresay that I have spent more hours than most at the computer, reading books, researching, debating, etc. Do not come to me with common questions or pschological tricks, I have heard them all. A psychological mindgame is just a diversion if you have no facts to fall back upon.
On a different not, my story however starts when I read "the icons of evolution". This book, along with others, changed my life in an entirely different way.
To avoid plagarism, I may use sentences from the current book I am reading, "Case for a Creator".
I used to think science backed up the evolution theory. It has become very clear the last two years of my life, that this is not the case. I suppose that you already know the basics of evolution, and that I don't have to explain it.
Here are the four main things that used to explain evolution for me and in my opinion, the four most prominently stated facts for evolution:
- Haeckel's Drawings of the fetus.
- Miller - Urey experiment
- Fossil record
- Darwin's Tree of Life
Basically, these were drawings that Haeckel had made that were supposed to show the idea that the stages of embryo's inside the womb were supposed to prove their evolutionary stages. There was three things wrong with these drawings:
1. They were FAKE! He doctored them, and made them look more and more like the animals that he wanted them to.
2. He HAND PICKED the stages. The ones that would work for his idea. He left the other 10 or whatever out just because they didn't work with his theory.
3. He said that the folds, as we now know they are, on the embryo's neck were gills, which has been scientifically proven that they are folds, and absolutely now scientist will say they are gills, since the invention of the ultra sound. So please do not ask me something like "how do you know they aren't gills", because the entire scientific community agrees on this.
So what do we have in Haeckel. Great example. He had no morals, nothing holding him back from doing what he did, no standards.
Through these three facts, we establish that:
- Scientists will lie to you. Just as Haeckel doctored the drawings. What is stopping them? They have nothing to live for but to be rich and famous. No morals, nothing to be accountable to. And what better way than to prove evolution.
- They will leave out evidence not supporting their idea. AKA they will be unfair and not even follow the scientific law of following all of the evidence.
- Haeckel was wrong even about his scientific fact that he thought was true. Therefore scientists can also be wrong. Don't think they are always right. Examine things for yourself because in the end, it all comes down to what you believe.
Now that we have made an example out of Haeckel, let's move to the Miller -Urey experiment.
