Hello, I have a problem with 3 rings, owners of puzzle pirates. My computer was tainted about a year ago from puzzle pirates and I have tried using proxies and changing my ip etc but it still says my computer is tainted(banned either by ip or some other means that I'm not sure about) . I was wondering if I reformatted my computer if I could still be tracked. I have no problem that my account is banned, I have no problem with making a new account and starting all over but I just want to play. I am getting extremely frustrated. I also have another idea where it just says I'm not allowed to make new accounts, but possibly I'm allowed to play on already created ones.

So if anyone has an old puzzle pirates account they could give me or if someone could just take a few minutes of there time and login to my already created account and play for a few minutes so it will no longer be a "New Account" that would be great. Ty for the help in advance and let me know how I can get around my "Tainted" problem.

Clean puzzlepirates out of your registry

Can you plz tell me how to do that… and are you sure doing something that simple will work?

i think something at your hardware have to change so or like metagen said you have to clean it from the registry there are a lot of tools wich can be found at google

run: regedit

Ok well the whole registry thing isnt working, I'm pretty sure the information is in their own servers… not my computer, so can someone just please make me some accounts because as long as I don't make the account on this computer I am able to play on it, I just can't create them. So please just post a username and password that you created and I will be very greatful :) Rep+ for you.

if its on the servers, use tor, if its on your computer, clear the registry.

why would tor work on a game client? I just tried it and it is extremely slow not to mention it doesn't change anything, it still says my comp is tainted. I am surprised there is no forum or place where they create new accounts for free… its very easy.

Tor if used right runs all internet through a proxy. If you did it right it is something on your computer.

…can you please elaborate? what is up with one sentence responses such as "clean your registry" "google it" etc. I have done all those things and they are not working. If you really know what your talking about then you will be able to tell me how to do this properly. I am not going to guess and mess around with my computer even though tbh I already have which I'm not happy about.

all it takes is for someone that isnt banned to create an account and then I would be able to logon to it. It's all im asking and I would be very happy if someone did this for me :)

If proxies don't work, then they definitely have something stored somewhere on your computer. So reformatting will most likely work. But if you don't want to do that, try 1. clearing your cookies. 2. clearing all your temp files (don't think that would work, but it's worth a try)
For the people who suggested to "clean the registry", I don't really think you should suggest that. Someone might take it as "clear your whole registry", which would be bad.
(Also, I am pretty sure that websites cannot have access to your registry… can someone confirm this?)

LOL not sure why this is such a hard concept… Proxies do not work because they do not include java…. It has nothing to with my computer because I did clear the registry and it has to do with my IP address because my moms laptop, same network also says that its tainted…. So the only way to resolve this is for someone to help me and go to their website, hit start, enter that info… done. Plz just help :( :( :(

Well I tried using tor once again and I figured out how to enable java on it (highly unrecommended btw) but then it still says I have the same ip address when I go to play a game, but when I go to find my ip in firefox it gives me a different IP. I would just like to be done with all this messing around. Could someone just please create the account on their computer.

I'm downloading the client now, I think I had an account there I played for like a day. I'll recover the pass & give you it if I can.

w0w ty so much. Even if you can't get it don't worry about it.. at least u tried. Btw if u cant find ur account then u dont have to fill any forms out or sign up.. all you have to do is enter the info i provided into the client. :D

i think it cant be the ip, because the ip changes automatically after some time.
But if its the ip, restart your router or modem, so u will get a new ip

hm, they really stored something on our pcs, because with windows xp (i played on vista) it doesnt say, that my computer is tainted…
