Hello guys,

I hadn't played RS in over 1 week, then when I tryed to login, it said that my account was already logged in, I was like wtf… as you would be.

So I got my sister to login to her account to see if I was online, and sure enough I was, so I said to the guy on my account, "Umm, wanna get off my account lol". I then went to the Account Recovery page and tryped in my Recoverys and got my password changed, as I was doing that, I saw that the fucking bastard had tryed to change my Recoverys and that they would become active on the 13th of September.

So I went and cancelled those recoverys, and set a new password.
Then when I changed my password and recoverys, I tryed to login, and it worked.. I got a screenshot of the IP that was last on and then I noticed that whoever was on my account had bought me 30 days of membership credit.

So I cancelled the subscription due to panic and forgot to check how they had subscribed. Hope it wasnt with a Credit Card or something.

I don't know what to do guys, if he used a CC then that means he can recover my account whenever he wants? I have also purchased membership with a Credit Card a while ago and I've also used PayByCash.

This is a good account also.. Lvl 100+ with skills over lvl 90 and ALOT of cash on him. Whoever was on my account was trying to transfer money, because im about 6m down from what I had.

So far, I couldn't find out how to contact Jagex, so I sent them an appeal for a rule that I broke ages ago, explaining how this dude got on my account and bought membership and stuff. Hope they reply.

Yeah my account just ran out of a 30 day membership, and now that noob put another 30 days, I cancelled the subscription, but it still says I can have the 30 days.

And I have NO clue on how this noob got my account Information, none of my accounts have EVER been hacked. I'm also scanning my PC right now with my personal virus scanner and then Ill use TrendMicro's HouseCall just to be sure.

I suggest you change everything, set up a bank pin, keep everything in bank so that it basically makes it a useless account.

After i got hacked for like the 5th time that's what i did but now i don't get hacked no more lol

Yup I've changed everything already and I did have a bank pin, but I took it off like 2 weeks ago for a script I was making, well I guess that's what happens.

I've now put in a new bank pin, but it takes 3 days for it to become active.
So I just hope this noob doesn't somehow get back on my account, at least until then, I still think he/she could get back onto my account with the Membership they bought for it though. :(

Hmm, I guess it was a fairly good password.

11 characters with numbers… I didn't think scar could type in symbols for a password so I didn't think to use symbols. :s

P.S Can a Mod or Admin please check if the IP matches any users here.

I hope you realise that Uppercase and Lowercase doesn't matter in RuneScape?

Maybe you have a keylogger or something on your pc?
Try changing the pass and see if he gets on again.
If so, reset your pc;)
If not, well than its fixed.
I'm sorry for you, I lost over 30m due a keylogger (I don't care, because I only auto on rs) so I know how you're feeling.
PMing an admin would be the best thing to do with the picture of the IP;)

When I first joined this community, quite a while back (it's only recently that I've been getting involved) there was virtually nothing like this happening. Everyone helped everyone, as simple as that.

And now we have iroki, released a password stealing script; Starblaster, Admin gone bad; and lardy, who hacks people. Oh, and we can't forget the incident about Harry (Hy) trusting someone with his account, and then they drop the stuff…

just scannign through lard's threads.He hasnt written much scripts except for some maths functions and a song singer(lol).Did u use any of his functions?He might have done a getpage like Iroki…

No.2 is did u give a very detailed intro of yourself on any forum, he might have used the info to recover your account.

if he used a getpage in one of his functions it would have been picked up by somebody pretty quick

just wondering did u talk to him at all, use scripts he gave you, download anything new recently, post a script with ur pass in it…. just dont know how he got ur pass

First of all thanks for replying to my Thread.
No I had never heard of 'lardmaster' before, nor do I think that I've ever used anything by him.
Never spoken to him before, and I'm not really registered with any forums, I have no clue on how he got my password.

I scanned my PC with a fully up-to-date McAfee Security Center 2008, then I used TrendMicro's HouseCall (Online PC Virus Scanner). Both returned clear, with no viruses, spyware, malware. My pc is fully clean.

I have NO clue, on how he got my password, none of my accounts have ever been hacked. I've now changed my password to a more secure one, changed all my recoverys, and put a new bank pin (I was an idiot to take it off).

Also lardmaster posted this 'a dude from Sythe's email' which is "asdfhacks@hotmail.com".. Just very weird that when I logged into MSN today that this "asdfhacks@hotmail.com" has just added me to there list??

Well I sent lardmaster a Private Message, I'll see if he replys, in the meantime could an admin or mod IP ban this noob?

Theory no.2 which is more probable is that asdfhacks is lard's hotmail acc so he added u to make the scenario more realistic.

It was his IP, which means it was HIS pc that was last logged into my RuneScape Account.

All i know is that this community when i joined; was secure and everyone was very nice to each other and we had a better purpose, which was to make amazing scripts. Anyways i'm sad to see shit like this happen :(

Even though he is an SRL Member and I'm not, he should still be banned.
Not even I would hack / try to hack peoples hard earned accounts, its just low.
