I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you and becoming a significant contributor to your community. I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with what I have seen so far of the community here. I am even more impressed at how much talented manpower you have behind not just SCAR and SRL but also the scripts.

Anyhow, my real name is George and I live in New Jersey, USA. I am 19 years old and I am just starting my first year of college after a year break working as a security guard at a local hospital. I first started playing Runescape when I was in 7th grade… this was back when you could GhostMouse forever and not get banned! I gradually got into SCAR back when it was Kaitneik's project… these were the good old days. When high school rolled around, I was getting sick of Runescape and started getting into the black market on Sythe. Needless to say, I lost everything I had to scammers and bans. Long story short, I got into WoW and started botting there too. I ended up having a 70 Warlock, a 70 Shaman, and a 70 healing Druid with +2000 heals which is what I played as my main. I absolutely hated raiding (more like a job then a game imo) and I'm only so good at PvP… and I've always been into the stupid things like the story and crafting… so I've decided to switch back to Runescape.

I'm mainly here because I am looking for a tool to get back everything I used to have. For those curious… I'm thinking 100+ combat and over 2000 skill total. I'm determined to reach this on an account without getting it banned or even a single mark. And I am also looking forward to helping the community and the project in any way I can because I want to keep this thing alive. I also just find the cheating community interesting, and botting exciting.

You know what I'm talking about… waking up after running a script all night… its like Christmas morning!

I am currently looking into learning how to script, but I don't know if I have what it takes. For the mean time, how can I help? What can a non-scripter do around here?

Sorry for the wall of text, and thanks for looking :-)

Nice intro ;)

Welcome, and as for what you can do to help - Test scripts, post bugs, post proggies, give suggestions - stuff like that.

And scripting isn't really that hard. It can be time consuming, but knowing how to script just takes a day of looking around at tuts and maybe trying to make a decent script.
