well i have come across the answer before but i cant remember whet function to use

i have looked in the text.scar and in thescar manual but i cant find it anywhere

what function would i use to return this number
i know the chars to use is upchars but i cant remember what function to use

Kinda depends on where they are, but I would use findtext?

they are on the main screen

what i want to do is have a function that will read what is onscreen and return 278 as a string not return a boolean

Oh, that would be GetText(At?) or GetTextAtEx.

These can be found in the SCAR manual.
Press F1 while having SCAR open, and press CTRL + F once that browser window opens. Now search for GetText and you should find a couple of functions.
