I have some time to do some work for SRL now.

I will list some things I will try to do. Some are statements, others are partly questions. Please answer them as you post. :)

• I have updated my Multi Miner, and I am going to update the fishers soon.
• Essence Miner, in the Multi Miner or separate release?
• Make a site/search engine for Tutorials on SRL? (Same for Scripts). I personally feel the search engine on vBulletin is good, but not appropriate for this kind of searches. The Tutorials and Scripts can be rated outdated.
• Do some reflection work, make a new SRL, adding reflection.scar and hooks.scar, and I hope we can find a good system to auto-update the hooks? (I mean, getting it from some site and writefile() the hooks.scar.

Glad multi-miner is updated.

I think a reflection.scar to SRL include would be nice, stop some confusion among the Jr's etc.

Personally for a reflection script I would just want a Law crafter, but I think you already have that lol. I just need to bug it out of ya. :P

i agree reflection would be good in srl because then it would stop all the leechers and noobs asking why they are getting the error that says reflection.scar doesnt exist

For the rating outdated i suggest that any one can ra them to be outdated but an srl member+ or a certain group of srl members+ can verify before making it officially oudated

or just the script author?

i like the search engine idea. It would be greatly appreciated i think.

I vote don't put reflection in this soon yet. It's not ready. We really need to get a full base before we put it in SRL. They already plan on parsing hooks from a website when it's put into SRL. But, as I have already said, unless you want SRL updated quite a few times in the next weeks then I would hold off ;)

If you put Essence miner in multi miner it would rape the srl stats :/
I like the idea of serching for Tut's/scripts :)

I can see tuts, but scripts isn't really needed as there split up already, and with the work hobbit is doing now might solve the tuts problem

I think for the reflection script

a script with a 1 char option (so you can run for days sleeps 14 hours over night lots of sleeps in day)

a multi rune crafter or woodcutter or fighter

Nope, no need to do that. Browsing the tutorial section would be good enough, and we have far from enough tuts for needing a search engine of it's own for that.

My "making a new SRL", I hope you mean revision. In either way, yes - absolutely. Reflection is a very powerful feature of SMART, and we cannot allow this wonderful opportunity to slip through our hands if you see what I mean.

Absolutely. It will most likely set the standards for reflection scripts and a lot of interested people would learn a totally different (and perhaps new) approach to reflection. So, yes, definitely.

–Once you get the Multi Miner stable, release it in it. [And keep SRL Members Only ;) ] Maybe make a "Essence Miner Lite Edition" and release to the Free section, but with less features. IE: SRL Members have extra features, and Free have just a simple working miner but with no special features. (And annoy SB100 to fix his ess miner for us pay users :D )

–Awesome. How about getting a dedicated Reflection updater, like Quaters, to do it; when he updates in RSBot, then he can immediately update the hooks on Reflection and commit them.

–Some big project. Maybe some Multi-Skiller, like have it create a char for you, do tut island, kill chickens until 20 combat, chop some trees, burn fires, fish crayfish in Lumbridge, then sell the cooked fish on the G.E., and you know, have the script transform a newbie into a well balanced autoèr :)

Suggestion number 2:
If the char's combat is 20+, do Rune Mysteries, mine essence, craft with a multi-rune crafter :)

Offtopic: Reènable the "Users Viewing Thread" addon for vBulletin, and/or update to version 3.7.2 Beta 1. Hobbit was too scared to do it because he didn't want to phuck up the forums; he wants you / another admin to do it so he can blame them :p

Um… I agree with Hy's script idea for you. IMO you should make an ultimate script that would for example:

Create a character, run through the new tutorial bullshit, fight chickens till 25 combat, do the rune mysteries quest, mine ess til roughly 35 mining, walk to falador and craft airs til 30 rc, kill goblins til 40 combat, mine iron in the VEM til 55 mining, then home teleport and walk to draynor, net fish there til 25 fishing, walk to barbarian village and fly fish there til 50 fishing, then mine coal in the center of barbarian village til 60 mining. And continue from there fishing, mining, and runecrafting.
^^ lmao. I'm dreaming big here, but if you made this, it would have to be members only IMO. Also, this would make every SRL member want to have an army. Don't call me crazy, I know that you probably wont make this, but it would be amazing.

Perhaps you could make a better random-handler? By better, I mean, if it fails, resulting in your character's repositioning, then it walks them back to the place that they were before?
