Someone needed to make a post about this, so, the deal is that lowzy anti-viruses like AVG etc. detect SCSS.exe as a virus, but it's only a worldswitcher/scar client and it won't be even used automatically if you are worried about that.
Nothing in the SCAR folder contains a virus.

The staff doesn't consider it as a problem yet, but it will be stickied if it seems so to them…

SCSS has for some reason been marked as a trojan, it wouldn't be the first time, though I've yet to learn the cause… However, it's obsolete and will be removed in the next SRL release. It's been rewritten and released as OSS now.

Okay, then I'll remove this after some time… It's some new virus idents (Sp?) that think it's a virus or something…

Suprised Hobbit never freaked out about all these virus posts and made a sticky in FAQ and General Discussion. He seems rather displeased with them, at least.

That is a rather good idea.
