SRL Archive - S.M.A.R.T. Questions and Answers.

okay i get the box that says this "error loading SMART, check world prefix" but i have read like all the guides there are and nothing helps can someone please show me a more specific guide if there is one…

Thanks

The prefixes have changed from stuff like

"s5d" or "8gs" etc

To

"world114" or "world148" etc

So you just need to fix that

erm how?

Download FAWG and generate a new worlds.ini. FAWG is found here!

You just unrar it, go into the folder, open the application (FAWG.exe or something). Then pick the .ini option and click parse output. Go to the output folder (it's in the same folder as the application) and copy your new worlds.ini file. Go to 'Scar 3.15/Includes/SRL/SCSS' Overwrite the old worlds.ini and SMART should work… Tell me if it works :) If you have any questions, post here and I will try to help you out. ;)

okay i do all that but i have it open with win.rar so is that a problem cuz i do
"You just unrar it, go into the folder, open the application (FAWG.exe or something). Then pick the .ini option and click parse output."
then when i go to open up the outlet folder theres nothing there keep in mind im doing this all on winrar am i doing something wrong?

You have to unrar it before trying that. Rightclick on the FAWG 2.50.rar and click unzip in this folder. (Somethin like that, I got the norwegian version of WinRar…) Then go to the unzipped folder and do what I told you to. If it's still not working, I can't help you right now. I'm leaving for a camp soon, so I'm not be able to help you more, but I'm sure many other people will help. Just generated this one for you. Open your worlds.ini file, and replace the text inside with this and save it. I will help you further if noone else does before thursday.

how do i unzip it i just got vista and this stuff is kinda different so yeh

I have to go now, follow this Tut and you should be fine. http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29826 If nothing works after doing this, use mine, it will work for some weeks. I have posted one working in my other post. I'm leaving now.

i have but it still dosnt work :(((when i go to look in outlets folder theres nothing there!!!!! and when i go to search for worlds.ini thing i cant find it anywhere

the main thing i need to find out is WHERE DO I FIND THE WORLDS.INI FILE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!

One last post before I leave, if you can'r find it, just paste this file in the SCSS folder, if you can find it. It is in the SRL folder, wich is in the includes folder, wich is in the Scar folder. I attached a updated worlds.ini file :) Rep me if you want. (Put much effort into this)

EDIT: Can't upload .ini files. Uploaded a .txt file. Once pasted into the SCSS folder. Change the end of the name from .txt to .ini

I can't help you more if it still doesn't work. Only solution I can think of is delete Includes folder and redownload SRL, maybe reinstall SCAR. Then do as explained in the Tut i linked to.

EDIT:nevermid got it to work
THANK YOU@@@@@@@@@@@@!~

Me works it to! Thanx aLOT!
