Will I be safe if I run SCAR on Parallels desktop for Mac, and auto in there, but never login to my main.
I'll only log into my main on the OSX through Safari.
Will Jagex be able to find the UID embedded in my documents which hold the information for running Vista?

I think virtual desktops give you a different IP, im not sure so I would watch for that because you could get locked.

Hmm now I'm scared lol.
Jagex can not see the UID info from your C:/Windows/.Jagex folder off your virtual PC. They make their own on the virtual PC. But on OSX on Safari they read your C:/Windows one.
So I'd say you are safe, but just my opinion.

Wait.
Let me explain again.
I'm on a mac, virtualizing Vista. I auto in Vista, and I play legit in Mac.
Am I safe?

Unless they decide to IP ban, you are.
If by chance they DO decide to IP ban, you may still be safe. I think you get a different IP, but only the last three numbers should be different if I am right.

Depending on how you setup the VM, there's a ticker somewhere (AFAIK) that allows a different IP than the source for uses such as these. You are safe, I don't think you should have to worry IMO.

Visualize with WinXP, instead of Vista. ;)

I used to use parallels, but it sadly screwed up somehow… D:
What you suggested in the first post is true, as when you connect your browser sends the OS type. It will appear different.
Got anything on Parallels fixes?

Is your main a member? If he is, you shouldn't fear that they will ban your main, even if they IP Sweep you.
If your main is not a member, make it a member once. Just once, that's all I had to do to save my accounts from getting banned.
As for UID.Dat (Now random.dat), just auto using unsigned java.

So I am safe? Or maybe?
Btw, I don't have XP so I don't virtualize it lol.
My main is not a member, has been, probably will be again soon.
Is there a UID on Macs? Spotlight finds nothing.

And there should be a UID.dat on any computer you run RS signed on. Sometimes on unsigned they sneak one onto your computer sometimes (happened to munk I think once, he got a large group ban and he looked for the UID and found it, though he always used unsigned) :o
