Waddo's Guild miner

Waddo

This is only temporary while i'm testing it.

The fully fixed one will be members only.
this script shouldn't get lost in the mine it may get stuck for 20-30 seconds sometimes but so far it hasn't failed to recover.

You may also notice the mouse gets stuck between to objects eg lanterns on the walls if you leave t for a bout 20 secs it will go back to normal.

The walking has hardly been tested so i have no idea what its like.

Also it is single player Members will be multi.

cool ty =]
If you see any probs with the walking can you tell me where it got lost.

Unless I started my character in the wrong place, the walking needs improvement. It keeps running from the bank, to near the stairs, then back. Do I need to start the character off in a different place or something?

should start in mine

ok, either there is some problem with the script, or i am making a very simple mistake. I have a feeling it's the later.

the script starts, logs me in, and logs me out, saying "Logged In Player is not in Players array."

after a few times of logging that character in and out, it moves on to another character, saying the same thing. whats wrong?

Said same thing for me since I was thinking it would use SMART but you must use the runescape window.

Logged In Player is not in Players array

I have no idea why it gives that error remember its only single player try restarting scar.

yeah, i figured it used SMART, but when that wasnt working, i tired using the RS window from the RS client. still didnt work for me.

restarting scar doesn't work. i diabled the login, and that got me past the initial problem, but after that, the script just kinda failed.

I started in the bank. noting

i started in the mine. it mined one rock, and then tried to find the ladder, but just kinda walked in that direction, and then moved the mouse around, looking for the ladder. since the ladders weren't even in view, it would have been stuck there.

I helped it find the ladders, it went up, banked good, and had more ladder trouble, trying to get back into the mine.

gave me lots of guff. apparently it only mines one ore @ a time?

Can shorten:

if (not(loggedin))then
begin
loginplayer;
end;

To:

if not (LoggedIn) then LoginPlayer;

In this procedure:

Procedure FindFightEx;
Begin
If(FindFight) then
Begin
Writeln('Our player is being attacked!')
Writeln('Lets run away!')
Begin
WriteLn('Running....')
RunAway('E', False, 1, 8000+Random(3000))
WriteLn('Successfully ran away from fight!')
end;
end;
end;

Whats the point of the 3rd begin?

i must have really lost the plot, cause i get this error

 Line 4: [Error] (12:11): Unknown identifier 'SmartIsKeyDown' in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL/SRL/Misc/Smart.scar

thats really wierd because, my srl is updated to rev. 20? i dont know, mabey this script just doesnt like me

Yay finnaly some reflection scripts begin relased, good Job. But… im pretty sure some of that walking might not work that well, random(5)? Each tile is 4x4 pixles some sometimes 14 pixles of the co-ord of the first tile…. Might click of the MM…. also some backup as discussed in the SRL members section… mabbee make a function like this ( im just writing theis right now soo it prob does not compile ( at School))

Funtion WalkRadTile(TileX, TileY, Color, SRad, Erad, Radius, Xmod, Ymod,FFLag: integer) : Boolean;
Begin
If not WalkToTile(TileX,TileY) then
Begin
RadialWalk(Color,Srad,Erad,Radius, Xmod Ymod,FFlag);
End;
End;
End;
Lol I wrote that in a world document so yeah do no how it looks also you shoule make your own WalkToTile Function and add in XRan, And Yran And FFlag so you can make each one more random and not 2 random… hope I helped nice script

Ok i have said there is no failsafes realy when i release this into members it will contain failsafes.

TheSantaMan

2008-07-30 18:07:40

no offence but why would you waste the time releasing here. If the script isn't very reliable then you should work on it. Don't release things that could possibly get characters ban especaily if you know it…

Waddo

2008-07-30 19:00:41

I didn't say it could get you banned I said that it isn't flawless all scripts can get you banned i posted for feedback

jose89

2008-07-30 19:50:02

What he meant is that a non-working script can easily get you banned. Like the mouse just keeps trying to find an object or something for 2 hours…

Waddo

2008-07-30 21:56:44

Yes i know what he meant, this will be a members script when it is finished
i only posted it for feedback not really for people to use.

I'd test it with my 81 miner, but

Heliumbox, based on our conversation on IRC, you seem pretty dedicated to learning to script. Why not continue learning and then make a pwnage script to apply for membership? Then you CAN use the full version of this script :)

I wont script anything for you but your welcome to pm me for questions and guidance. :)

Nice Work Waddo, Id test it but im afraid i dont have any accounts to do so…

Looks nice though :)

Couldnt you use FindObjectCustom to find the coal??
