it was funny, i clicked to see if it was up like 5mins ago, then i accidently clicked a google link that brought me here and it was up!

Chyessssss. Now I can resume posting about things I know nothing about anymore.

There were come billing issues apparently with our hosts. That is reason for downtime.

So explain wtf just happened? R0fl. Is there any way we can help prevent SRL from shutting down every month. I mean clicking Ads only gives 5c AND only like 100000 people uses this forums. about one thirds of it actually post here, and about half of those who post are SRL Members and about 1 out of 10 of those SRL Members are not leechers trying to break in the SRL Members section and bout 1 out of 20 of those non leeching SRL Members actually click the ad once a day.

So that breaks down to like 10 people =3

Still no exact reason as to why it was down? I'm assuming it was some kind of payment error.

Sorry, my post took 4 minutes to post. Lol, don't know why SRL was being unresponsive…

Yay! SRL is back up! Now to try and remember what I was doing before the downtime.

I was thinking the sponsors were complaining again so the hosts took the site down for long enough to satisfy the sponsors. (You would call them sponsors, wouldn't you?)

They wouldn't shut us down if Jagex complained. Few reasons
1. There is no way through legal action can Jagex shut us down.
2. Why would the host lose money shut cause Jagex said "Shut them down the cheat to get pixel money!"
3. We don't have a black market, unlike sythe. So we are not breaking any laws what so ever. But if we were to sell account, we could get shut down through legal channels because that would be reselling something that is technically Jagex's property.

I have adblocked turned off on srl-forums and if I am ever going to buy anything on ebay or random site I come here and try to get an ad that relates so some money can go to keeping the site going
