My internet just stop working time to time out of nowhere.. i cant reactivate it becuase it wont deactiave :/ Sounds weird! Pictures will be up in a 5 min..
Could this have anything to do with a simple click thing or is my internet supplier playing tricks on me xD

Options are in swedish so heres a translation!
1st. DeActivate
2nd. Status
3rd Repear

This is when its working!

When the internet stop working it says its still activated!, and i cant deactivate it, It just wont let me, no pop up messages, nothing! When i restart my computer then i can activate once again! and it works! but there most be something much easier..

I cant use the Repear bottom becuase it says : Ip-addres couldnt renew.

The other computer that got the same internet works fine without problems only this one!

Take out computer battery and unplug for 5 minutes (remove all network connection plugs too). Flip computer upside down if the base of the computer feels really hot. Readd battery and replug, and see if that fixed anything.

that wont work it jsu them same as going to newtwork connections and right clicking and pressing renew it'll just lag for a lil then say if the problem presits contact the person that manages your ip.. corect? i swear it is to do with the new microsoft updates

MS updates have been a common occurrence of screwing up internet settings.

System restore back to before it started happening.

Otherwise, backup, format, install Windows, do the security updates 'til about January - February-ish, then turn them off.

Woah. I think you guys think too much into it :P

I work for isp. Recently zonealarm had an update that screwed EVERY PC running it. I actually work as a technical solutions engineer. But that day i had to sit there just taking calls telling people to get rid of zone alarm and it will work.

I would say however i dont thbink it effets dhcp updates. If you are unable to renew your ip using the command prompt commands above. Then either. Like the person said. Its overheated. The cable you are using is crap. The modem is crap. Take your pick

Cant be the modem because its fine with the other computer, Pyro :p

And yeah, that MS update that screwed MS was funny… all my computers, all my relatives computers… guess who had to fix them.

Scaper, do you have a static or dynamic IP?

Scaper

umm static i think umm dynamic changes all the time? and static changes when modem fgets unplugged or you flushthe dns and renew umm i have static why?

and yer the updated did screw with alot of computers not just the zonealarm ms too like smart said it wqs definatly ms updqtes that screwed it all up
