Ive been palying rs since 2003-04
And I never got banned, well Iv only been macroing for a year now.
I never got banned.
I runned my macros for 12h or more.
I hear lots of stories ppl being banned much easily.

Also what about the mods?
Well this is my "story":
I was bored in rs and I felt bad coz i just hear the news that the santa and redmask i sold for 1.5M is about 100M worth now or so…
So I bought 10 mithril long swords and one rune long..
I think you know what my plan was.. yes… scamming noobs…
I did make profit, I used my other lvl 73 acc coz i wasnt sure.
After i scammed about 7 swords one suspicious guy came to me. (Cpt Pinguin)
Not really suspicious but somehow coz he already had one Rune long…
I just thought whatever.
And then I put my noted long there, swap fast and press accept, and then he cancels the trade and I notice he is a Mod.
He said he is going to report me.
Also MANY other players told to report me and sure did.
But I NEVER got banned.

Scamming people is wrong… I remember when I was like 7, I had just started playing RS, and finally earned my way up to a rune med (took me like a month), and tried to trade it for full mith, but was scammed. I was so little, I started crying. Now just tell me scamming isn't wrong please.

I see no relevance to getting banned for macroing by relating it to being an underhanded scammer. Scamming is very wrong. Have you no just morals?

i belive that if you dont act careless and run your auto's in a Populated area then u are Less likely to get caught although you still run the chance of getting caught i wouldnt know really im new to autoing and well you know Rookies gutta learn soo im building off my ase theory of not ebing obvious then you wont get caught

scar is pretty good. if you auto correctly you have little chances of being banned

Pretty much just use common sense and you should be fine. Keep in mind that a player will get banned eventually.

Scamming is so wrong, dude -.- I was buying a rune 2h once with all the money I had (50k at the time- took me weeks :( ) and got a mith 2h instead. I cried for 5 minutes because I was like 10 *rolls eyes* and then made the money back somehow :s. But as for macro bans, make accounts above level 20 combat (40+ preferred) and train more than the skill you want to macro. Also play legitly from time to time ;)

Lol, your funny, especialy the bit about playing legitly from time to time. With 24-48 dudes, that doesnt really happen. Im gonna have that many when i get my server (oooh yaa).

Scamming is pretty low man… We don't scam here. If you support scamming, thats your own business, just don't involve anyone else in it, okay? Scamming is for noobs.

I've never been scammed nor I've never scammed anyone.

well it all depends on how much time you take to make sure you take special percautions.

Macroing doesn't take anything from someone, SCAMMING does, essentilly scamming is stealing, granted it's only a game, but it still really frosts my backside. Of course with the new trade screen improvement if someone gets scammed, they pretty well deserve it.

I see a lot of level 3's being able to cut wood and all. They don't talk either. So I assume there Macroing. I don't report them though. Really no reason to.

But anyways, yeah Scamming isn't the best thing. I've gotten scammed once. And I've had a friend that wanted me to help scam people. Of course I didn't do it. Because what's the point? It's fairly easy to make money, especially when your a member. And if you have the patience, it's easy to level up your skills.

I hear a lot of people saying Macroing is wrong. I don't think so though. Especially when anyone can do it. And if it helps, then it's good :D
