i am soo happy because i found out that my theory was correct! i found that jagex dose store thair entire game on your computed!!! the catch files are sort of like a gate way to the game it self they redirect the files on your computer into the client! so here is my proof that the game itself is on your computer
now i havent been abelt to get to the files them self but i am close!

It's not the whole game. And even if it was, don't you think some java pro's who write client editing bots etc. would've already found out -.-

its most likely just temp data, like image files from when you visited a website.

A very very old version of Runescape we got before they encrypted the packets. That is easily downloadable from www.moparscape.org

It could just be that your computer downloads images so as not to slow down connection time when trying to bring up a file when talking sense I am sure most of you noticed that it said chathead/sir_amirk my guess is that is the annimation file for him when talking The only thing I could see being useful with that is you could make your own skins for people (NPC)

The fact that it is a gif would suggest that it's temp data from the Grand Exchange or similar services offered. I've never heard of a 3d game that uses 1 gif to make a 3d model.

Sorry man, but if you change 1 byte the MD5 or CRC32 or whatever will be changed and redownloading begins :)
