New Autoing Standards

i think a thread needs to be official about this. with all the new runescape graphs and graphics options scripters and autoers may have different settings and that'll mess up the script.

i mean the stuff like highest brightness, no roofs, shadows, lots of texture on ground, etc.

honestly i think that the more detail the better except for the roofs and stuff.

Brightness: Max
Visible levels: Current
Ground Decoration: On
Texture detail: High
Idle Animations: Few
Flickeing Effects: Off
Ground textures: Many
Character Shadows: On

that's the settings i suggest we use as standard settings.

Hmm except for the brightness I don't think it will affect much scripts, are you sure it will ?

Its really not a bad idea to be a little consistent…
Something we don't anticipate is certainly capable of becoming a problem further down the line. And, I'm sure we can all agree that the scripter should probably be seeing the same stuff while writing the script as someone running it will.

Safemode: true + brightness up = old low detail.

Why the more detailed the better? More detail means more "distractions" for object finding, etc. Like Markus says, old Low Detail is Safe Mode plus highest brightness (Safe mode sets brightness to the 3rd point).

Safe mode = Unsigned low detail, no ?

Guess if everyone thinks we should take on these standards, that we should :p

Safe mode, doesn't that reset the brightness to lvl 3 every time you log in ? Thats quite annoying :(

Its not neccessarily unsigned. And no it only sets it when you first load the client.
