well I'm a Google adsense user and I've earned about $50 (need 100 to cash-in).
and i know the rules to the system all-to-well and begging to have your advertisements clicked can pay off very well but it can also get the owner of the account either permanently banned or this website restricted from service.
now it's not a guarantee that we're be banned but there's chance with enough clicks.
just thought I'd let you know.

No need for worries. Just once or twice a day is good. Any more than that and it will get a bit suspicious.

What he is saying is don't go around saying "click the ads or srl will go down" as the tos says you can not give incentives to clicking. The incentive here is website being up

Guys, red eyes 20 is correct. Anything mentioning "Click the Ads" risks Google Adsence team to see it, and if they see it they- 1) Disable Dankness's Adsence account and 2) Not pay Dankness what he has now.
So yeah, I'd advise for you guys to remove those, unless you want SRL down more, and I am sure you do not ;)

Yes the website is not allowed to ''advertise to people to click the ads''.
But I don't see anywhere saying that the users can't? :p
I posted this in OMG WTF o.0

I have a solution.
TurboBK
What if you edit the pic you made for sigs instead of saying "Click ads once a day" make it say "PM me for details" or you could make it "PM me or _______ for details" Then you don't have to try and keep up with a bunch of PMs.
I think that is a solution to still save SRL and keep Google oblivious?

I use google adsense and the rules state you are not allowed to offer incentives for clicking ads however asking people to click ads is fine.

actually it says "You shall not, and shall not authorize or encourage any third party to: (i) directly or indirectly generate queries, Referral Events, or impressions of or clicks on any Ad, Link, Search Result, or Referral Button"
so that means as the admins know about it, they should delete threads about it no?
and also inform the users not to have it in their signatures
