a bit long but worth it ! THOUGH i have already had 5-7 pures and got 2 left since ALL got banned since i macroed after pking was gone :( and they were all great pures well here it is:

There are a few main types of pures. They are: Melee, Range, Mage, Tank, or a combination.
Melee Pure: Has high attack/strength with low defence and prayer
Range Pure: Has high range with low defence and prayer, some get attack and strength so they can combo attack
Mage Pure: Has high mage with everything else low.
Tank: Has high range and defence with lower attack and strength.

Where to start your pure?
The first part when you're starting a pure is when you're making the name! Try to pick a cool name that is relevant to the type of pure you're making.
Get that skill(s) to the highest you can on tutorial island.
Melee Pure: After getting off tutorial island head to the chickens in lumbridge that are to the northeast of the castle. Kill chickens and pick up the feathers AND CHICKEN - Chicken are in high demand since summoning started, so you can get a little more cash onto you're pure without transferring. After you get 20 attack and 20 strength, head to the east and into the cow and kill cows for their hides. Once you get 40 attack and strength, go to varrock and put all the items you have gotten into the Grand Exchange. After that get a brass key and head to hill giants. Once you get to around 50 attack and 60 strength, you will have around 1k(or more) big bones and limps, so put those in the Grand Exchange. With all the money you have, you should have 1M+. Now head to moss giants and start attacking them until level 59 attack - THATS IMPORTANT TO STOP AT 59! You may want to get your mage up to 70, since now, it wont raise your level. Once you get 59 attack and 60 strength, its time to become a member. Take some fire bolts (or anything you want) and head to the tree spirit and kill him. Next start getting all the pre-requirments for monkey maddness. Once you have them do monkey maddness, which will be hard without defence or prayer. Now use the exp you get from monkey maddness on attack and it will level you to 60! Now, head to rock crabs and start killing them. These will be good until you're 85 strength, since they have high hp and they don't hit high (and they drop clues). Once you're 85 strength, buy a cannon and a lot of cannon balls. Head back to rock crabs and use the cannon to get your range up. You want to get 70 so that you can try to get a firecape later on and so that you can get some mage defence from black d hide legs and vambs. Once at 70 range, 85 strength, 60 attack, and around 80 HP, head to expiriments or pest control, whichever you like. Get your attack to 70 first and then get your strength to 99! After 99 strength, use range in pest control and use the points on HP to get to 99 HP.
Best BH Set: Whip, fury, black d hide legs, mage top, black d hide vambs, mage hat, Mith gloves, climbing boots, and recoil.

They drop good stuff and there are a lot of ranging spots there. Stay there until level 80 range and then head to Pest Control using range and use your points on HP. Once at 90 range, use all your points on HP and you should be around 80 HP if you didn't use a cannon, if you did probably 75. Now at 90 range, you can continue PC or head to something that is good for drops so you can get some money. Most people, mix range with mage to make a good hit combo, so if thats what you want, get curse until 55 mage, then alch till 70, then stun.
Best BH Set: Mage hat, mage robe top, black d hide legs, black d hide vambs, dragon arrows, dark bow, wizard boots, fury, and recoil.

Mage Pure: Start out by finishing tutorial. After tutorial, go to the chicken coop and use the extra runes you got from tutorial island. Now once you run out, sell the chickens and feathers and buy some body runes, water staff, earth runes, and a set of full iron. Wear the staff and iron, you're maybe wondering why you should wear iron with a staff? Well because confuse, weaken, and curse give you exp no matter if you hit something or not, and its better not to be moving around. Curse at the monk of zamorak, which is in the varrock castle (to the north of the fountain) until level 55. At 55 start alching until 99 OR until you can stun. It takes around 150k alchs from 55-99. Now since your HP will be most likely 12 or less, you will need to get it up. A lot of people get thier defence to 70 or 99 so that their HP is high. OR another idea is to get 99 range without a cannon. You will need to do desert treasure at some point in your maging.
Best BH Set: Ahrims robe top, bottom, hood, ancient staff, wizard boots, mage book, obby cape, and recoil.

Tank: Start by getting 3 defence, 3 range, 3 prayer, and 3 mage. After you get this, go to chickens and kill them until 40 defence, 20 range, probably around 20 prayer, and 3 mage. After you get those stats, sell your chickens and feathers in grand exchange. Buy body runes, water staff, earth runes, and an iron set. Put it on with the water staff (read mage guide if you don't know why). Now go to the monk of zamorak and curse, weaken, and confuse until level 55. At 55, alch until 60, then stop the maging for a little. Now, become a member. Buy a set of rune with the money and wear it while you range. Range rock crabs until 50 range. Then get a iron scimmy out and get your defence to 60 (if you really want, you can get dragon, but thats a waste in my opinion). Now start ranging again and stop at 60. Once at 60 range, 60 defence, 60 mage, around 60 HP, and around 30 prayer, go to fire giants with a good range set on. Range until 80 and then leave. Get your rune back on and head to expiriments and use your iron scimmy to get your defence up to 70. Now head to Pest Control. Range inside of pest control and use your points on defence. When you get to about 90 range, your defence should be 85+. Now, do the mage of zamorak mini game to get a zamorak staff (these are just good to have). Now get your mage up to as high as you want and do desert treasure (get at least 82 mage for blitz). Now go back to fire giants and range them from a safe spot. Once you get 99 range and around 90 defence, go get yourself a firecape, it will be a lot easier with 99 range and high defence.
Best BH Set: Firecape, torags set, fury, dragon boots, dark (barrows) gloves, dark bow, dragon arrows, and recoil.
