Range guild target ranger by Lorax

Background:
I wanted some range xp so I made this to get some.
Also this script includes fast ranging.

How to use this script:

Setup your player info in procedure DeclarePlayers
Place your player at the back of the ranging course (near) the Judge.
Have money on you.
Be loggedin.
Run the script.

Note:
This is not an over-night script.
progress report added.

V0.2 Updated the Length tol of the Judge from 50-200 to 50-250
V0.3 Changed RunAway('N', True, 0, 10000 + Random(2000)); to
RunAway('N', True, 1, 10000 + Random(2000)); - it now actually runs away :)
V0.4 Added a loop into equipArrows and if there's a little laag it will now still get the arrows.
V0.5 Added a loop so if the script doesn't find the Judge it will try for one minute every 10-20 seconds. Also I made a findFight(LowAngle) and the script will now run away from monsters just fine (even if you wield an archers helmet). Also changed the Bitmap for arrows so that it matches the arrowheads (ex. if you use Ava's Accumulator you will generate arrows) and mistakenly the script can hit these instead.
V0.6Big update: Added loops for talkToJudge, added a progressReport, added some WriteLn's for debugging, added checking for yellow color around mouse before clicking the target (the second….. time), added DebugReport saving when terminating the script, changed WriteLn's in fireArrows, so that they will only appear when something didn't go as planned. V0.6 hasn't been compiled on my computer or anything since I don't have SCAR here therefore I don't know if it works or compiles :P..
V0.7Compiles and works very well.

I don't need to challenge anyone :), also I don't plan to add any extra feautures like your script is well-equipped with.
So when your script is updated I will try it out and see if I want to switch.

it is updated, i did it last night.. :) i got the login and stuff to work, fixed srl functions in the script.. :)

I just tried it, and sorry to say it but you really need to work on the speed of your script. If you tried my Range guild script you would find that a round of buying + firing is approximatively double as fast with my script. Other than that I like that you're saving the progress reports when the scripts stop.

Well scripting lately has been for myself, and the release of the scripts has not been planned.
Perhaps a progress report will be included later on, but for now, no.

The scripts I have for myself are often not suited for daylight :)
But they still do their magic, hehe.

Really? It must have been another script (my flax picker?) the last target ranger I made together with Renax back when Fagex.net was great. This script was created in one day :)
Well I am doing some testing and for now it hasn't runned that long..

You sent me that one too :D But, why, did you suddenly decide to script again ? :p I though you hated RS.

Hmm, I don't know. I was really bored playing Guild wars and I had stopped playing WoW - then I just began to play a bit RS and quickly that leads me to a little bit of scripting, and I found out I was quite succesfull with the scripting lately so I continued some more..
Perhaps I was also influenced by some guy living here atm who plays it.
But it's surely just temporary again.

hmm…i timed this one to see how long it lasted and how many tickets i came back with and in about (according to my stopwatch lol) 2 hours 46 minutes 36 seconds (before i had to end it it was still going it had gained over 5000 tickets this is awesome and it solved some randoms as far as i could tell even though i didn't watch it it did a mysterious box and something else

Try and time "Timer's" script and see how many tickets it gets from 2 hours 46 minutes and 36 seconds. That would be an interesting experiment. Or you could just keep on doing what you want to.

also as a side-note: I'm going to vacation so I won't be able to fix anything for a week.

erm no thanks timers is bad but now i can't get yours to work :( it just stops on the last screen of the judge or gets past that and doesnt't equip the arrows any ideas?

@Sandos: In one week I will have time to see whether the version I have uploaded matches the latest and if Runescape have changed in any way.
A temporary fix could be to increase the tolerance for the arrows and increase the waits. in talkToJudge.
@Timer: I will test your script when I get back.

Version 0.6 is up and running - and it now includes a progress report.
NOTE: This is not written in SCAR and not tested on SCAR since I don't have that on my computer.

How much xp is this pr hour? Is it faster than a fighcaver with accumlator, MSB and iron arrows? (I really miss Hy's script, PvH's and Eduards still don't support range :( (I know, it's summer vacation…)

With 74 ranging I am averaging 28.9kxp/hour.
However no HP is gained when using this script.

it does ^^ with accumulator, just make it Strenght and it set up at rapid.

i added smart and it loaded smart than the mouse didnt move at all it just said running and the red dot was just sitting in a random spot… wat do i do?

Hmm, I see that apparently there's a problem with the buying of the arrows..
I knew that this was a reality when I left for the military and if I knew excatly what could've caused this I would have fixed it..
For now I don't know..
I made quite some (failsafes), that will make it work in cases like talking to randoms when buying or fleeing from randoms..
But for now you will have to settle with reports not that long, or switch to Timer's script..

Hey, This script is really good. I ran it a tad. It never worked for more than 30 minutes for me, tho it got me some range xp. TY =]

When a SRL Developer releases scripts i feel kinda more safe!

this script is working great i get me from 68 range to 70 range
i run it over night lucky i didn't banned yet cheer

yoo soo…. if theres still bronze arrows from judge for price of 200gp.. i did long time ago like, equip arrows, and just pay the ticket price then u dont have to equip them, dont know nowdays are they some other kind of "training" arrows..

It's outdated guys. Stop posting! Lorax will update it when he gets a chance, if he decides to update it at all.

Also, the fix is really easy if you'd try searching (for the Invalid Parameters, as I'm guessing it's because of SMART).
