Okay, I am really sick and fucking tired of people who type like shit. Not meaning speedwise, but the people who are too fucking lazy to hit a few extra keys and make every fucking post they make an eye sore to read.

People, if you can't fucking type properly then either don't type at all, or learn to type right. I don't know if I should point out specifics, but I may. Seriously I am not in a bitchy mood or anything. Its just almost every other post I read is typed piss poor and I can hardly stand to read half of it. If you demand any respect from me and most people it probably is a good idea to start typing properly.

Meaning:

Capitilize
Use puncation
Use proper grammar
No shortened words (i.e. tho = though gr8 = great etc.)
No 1337 speak
Paragraph
Complete thoughts
Be specific
Make sense
No over-using emotes

Among other things, try to sound like you have half a brain.

Also be mature.

I agree with Mr.Klean as-well. This is why i have been typing proper punctuation for a while now, also since studies show that most online users type Internet Slang seem to lack the knowledge of English and fail in some of their tests. Also, every time i see an Internet Slang abbreviation that i don't know of, i just search it up on NoSlang which actually annoys me now since a lot of users are using this Internet Slang.

But of course, minor use of this language is quite acceptable, but not too much. And for those non-English speaking students, just try and learn from what others type and you can greatly increase your English literacy skills as-well.

So, if you want to be cool, join the crew ;) Other-wise, try and stay cool by your little language that was invented near the 20[superscript]th[/superscript] century.

Yeah, I, also, prefer to type properly when I have the time but when I am rushing I tend to lapse into net speak.
Also, it is sometimes fun to use |337 5p34k or 011000100110100101101110011000010111001001111001 just for the hell of it. :)
I don't, however, have anything against abbreviations.

I try to make sense in the forums but I don't pay that much attention to my grammar on msn etc. (i think its still understandable without much capitalization etc.) .. But what annoys alot is the people confusing "Your/You're" and words like m8..
