I've noticed that Jagex's way of running Runescape is almost communist, with secret police and stuff making sure only propaganda reaches the masses. In fact, can players even contact Jagex about ANYTHING? First thing that comes to mind: the forums. But wait, there's a catch! You have to pay and be a member first! But that's not enough, most posts are either deleted or altered by Jagex staff! Of course, when I say that, I mean mostly in the "rants" section, where people post complaints, and much less in the "compliments" section. Hmm…censor much? You can't even contact them in customer support! Okay so that leaves two things: submitting a bug report (where you have 1000 characters), and appeals for bans. Great, the only way you can contact jagex is to tell them something is wrong with their game. And I'm having my doubts about whether or not they read appeals for temporary bans. I once sent an appeal telling them that there was no evidence for breaking rule 7, and how I played legit (because I actually was), and even solved a couple randoms…and they sent me a "DENIED" - why? "We have conclusive evidence that you were in control of your account…blah blah blah". WHAT? I never even suggested that somebody else was on my account! Oh yea, that happened for 2 of my other temporary bans too. Exact same reply. So basically, I think that Jagex needs to step up their communication with players. After all, it's us who play their game. Please tell me if something I said was inaccurate, or if I'm posting in the wrong section (if I am, feel free to move this).
