Ok i did this experiment to see what happens if play a movie behind runescape window. something did happen,when the movie is playing there is an outline on all the items and the dialogue boxes etc.

I cannot post a screen shot because whenever when i take screen and save it it goes back to its usual mode. Can somebody see if this happens to them also or if its just me.

Make sure u are using vlc player and the part o the movie is not black.

Always happens to me too, I just ignore it and watch the movie

just wondering how it happens ? is there like transparency in rs client or sumthing ?

Yeah, not really sure lol. Its strange, since you usually cant see through the RS client when theres no movie, i mean, you cant see the desktop and stuff. Maybe VLC is drawing onto the same canvas as RS, but RS draws after VLC and so it overlaps in the parts where its meant to be black (which would be see through on the same canvas). Dunno just a thought lol.

I think that the colour RS uses (65536) is the transparent colour for the hardware buffer or w/ever

any possible way to use this as our advantage ?
