i can't seem to get it working, anyone got some tips?

You should visit the smart section for an updated version of your worlds.ini
The worlds in rs changed, so smart worlds needs to be updated too;)
For vista it is harder to do, but I believe there was a tutorial on it;)

um, SMART isn't working atm… >_> So how is it working for you dj?

Right click on scar and hit run as admin. Fixes everything

You guys make me want to flame this topic. It works fine with Vista, learn how to use the operating sytem before you bitch.

Look for the scar folder in
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ or
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\

Vista ask you for permissions everytime you try to edit the Program Files folder, so just move your whole scar folder to your desktop, and thats it, it will stop all the problems.
You could also try right clicking scar, propieties, compatibility, run as admin
but u may have other problems, so the best thing is to move ur folder

I don't have to hit run as admin either, except when updating SRL.

i have vista, when doing anything with SCAR i always have to click the " Run as administrator button" by right clicking the SCAR shortcut.
