Best Way to Walk

Heys guys if you don't know I'm making a woodcutter for all of Seers Village.
Anyways I was wondering what you guys think the best way to walk to the willows would be. Ive got it to the first walk but the second one is a bit trickier.
Here's a pic:

I have been using the tree symbol but it fails quite often.
I was also thinking of using a DTM in accordance with the water.

What do you guys think?

Symbolaccurety:=0.75//is this right spelled?

Oh trust me I have tried that it is now down to .3 and still fails cause often there are players on it. And its SymbolAccuracy

Then use a Tpa?

I would suggest making an autocoloring function for the MM trees and do a FindColor from X, Y = approx. where you want to go to.

yes i would make an autocolor function that compares the 2 shades of the tree on the MM, the possibly make a ddtm and use that.

i would have it do like a triple try.

first have it search for the symbol, if it finds the symbol walk to it, if that fails, then try a ddtm of the trees, and if those both fail then have it just do a Radial or Linear walk to the color…

Try this on the mapples

//By Hermpie
Function WalkToMaple:Boolean;
Var
TempTpa,Temp2Tpa,Temp1: TpointArray;
Temp: T2DPointArray;
CTS, TempX, TempY, Temp2X, Temp2Y, MaxTime:Integer;
Begin
CTS := GetColorToleranceSpeed;
ColorToleranceSpeed(2);
FindColorsSpiralTolerance(TempX, TempY, TempTPA, 1127771, 0, 0, 1000, 1000, 10);
FindColorsSpiralTolerance(Temp2X, Temp2Y, Temp2TPA, 11569517, 0, 0, 1000, 1000, 5);
Temp1:= CombineTPA(TempTPA,Temp2Tpa);
Temp:= TPAtoATPAEx(Temp1, 1 , 1);//Change the Bigness.
SortATPASize(Temp, True);
MiddleTPAEx(Temp[0], TempX, TempY);
Mouse(TempX - 7, TempY + 37 , 5, 5, True);
MarkTime(MaxTime);
Repeat
Result:=FlagPresent;
If Result Then Flag;
Until Result Or (TimeFromMark(MaxTime) > 5000);
If (TimeFromMark(MaxTime) > 5000) Then Result := False;
ColorToleranceSpeed(CTS);
End;

I already have a perfect function for walking to the maples. Im asking for help walking to the willows not maples.

Try it :)?
Modify the color of the first FindColorSSpiralTolerance
To the MM tree color

Maybe try walking along the water using RadialWalk to get close to the willows? Or using RadialWalkEx and getting the coordinates and adding to them to make it even closer?

autocolor….
with radialwalk

:) autocolor should be the best imo

try all the least detected methods the people above have said.

then read this tut
http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24648

and use a blind click, which uses the minimap to know the angle of where to click, as last failsafe.

as it is only 1 click away it's a rather good failsafe.

always saves my draynor willows.

and perhaps you could make a willow bitmap? i've never seen that being used, but should work.

Ha thanks rasta but I know trig haha. Im actually just finished calc bc. But yea I was thinking of that since its pretty standard angle. I got it to work by taking the greyish color of the sybol, autocoloring it, and then radial walking. It's been working pretty well. Imma add in a blind click just in case though. Thanks

DDTM, use the trees as subpoints.

The Claw

2008-06-09 09:16:28

Blind click/water walk then use a few DDTM's of the willows with a tree pixel as a subpoint. Have a few DDTM's though, so if one fails, try the next, then try the next, etc. Just in case the tree symbol is over one or more of the points. Although this will require you to input the tree pixel colour at the start of the script, unless you use NewAutocolor.scar and figure out the ratios of the water color to the tree pixel you use. Then just autocolour water, set the tree variable from that, then make the DDTMS - easy as wizzup helping my irc (which hes not doing).

Find a color in the trees which is always there (yes, that excists, I use it for my own ddtms too) and than make a ddtm of it;)

No Hermen, there are other ways aswell:p

I should make a ddtm with area of 2 or so.

Gah a simple FindColortolerance.
