IBot isn't dead, its growing. There's a professional version coming out soon that will have a tut island runner. Don't know much else about IBot though.

I was going to get it, but I was kicked off of Senior Members (I guess I didn't post a lot, even thought I posted tuts), even if I did I would still perfer SCAR.

Erm, i-bot, you know, impsoft production, … erm, arga isn't news, it's been annourced months ago :duh:

I was never even a member of Kaitnieks, I played RS legit around that time, and then I quit for about a year, which is when aryan came, missed out on that, lol, and then I came back about 4 months ago and found out about scar. I pretty much missed all of the good stuff.

arga been in development since right after aryan died. I think they are on their 4th re-writes. They have 4 java coders but i think 2 main bot coders.

I-Bot started out as UBI which took orders from scar. Since then it has been thru about 2 re-writes not incuding the up coming pro version. I am the only dev for it.

They are both based on different things, arga being inside of the client and ibot being as close as one can get to the client without actually being in the client. I-Bot uses colors, arga uses client values.

However keep all talk about arga semi-private. The rs-r ppl dont want tons of nubs at their site, they want qualified people.

im very ahppy its not for everyone!

Zappacky, Taios and Myself are the 'bot coders.' We also have virtualmaster and ownagesbot. But they are mainly script maker\ on the side kinda people.
Oh, and we didn't rip anything 'from aryan and update it to work with the new engine'
Its a completely different structure - and its a completely different type of bot. Like Sbot3 on steroids. :P

Sorry about that. I shall re-add you. I did a brief clean up of some members and may have deleted some that should not have been.

We dont mind Nub people joining, or using it. Just so long as they have the incentive to learn. I mean, you can learn while you auto ;).

ARGA will not destroy rs cheating since it is has limited users. We made sure of that. ;)

We will have an auth system to ensure that. It wont be like aryan, when 1000's of people had it - im guessing only about 150-200 people max will end up getting it.

well Ben, your spline function is also in a SCAR game of mine, it makes the path for a flamethrower, just draw a flame at every TPoint, it works a treat! :D

i bet theres a few other autos and bots which use your function,

i bet it was quite hard to convert it into java

Basically. Those whom have done things for cheating. People whom want to learn and can use arga as a learning tool, (learning to script, learn some java etc). We dont want to encourage people who just want to use and abuse it.

ARGA is in Bcel. Aryan used deobs. ARGA updates in about 8 seconds. ( On my crappy computer :p, 256 ram lol) Aryan updated in like 20 minutes, :(.

I recently rewrote it from scratch in java ;) Its not the exact same algorithm however… more accurate, faster, much more human.

WTF. You dont need to edit things to make a java bot lol. Ibot is a color clicker. ARGA, hax0rs the client and finds info like, where npc's are, camera angles and calulates the npc screen position, object position, gets your current world coordinates, etc. Simular to Aryan.

Well, if i get this right then Arga is in direct contact with the rs servers to find out where for example a tree is. But wouldn't that mean that there will be unusual requests (from bots) at the server. So for Fagex it would mean Unusual = ban. But i'm probably wrong cause then all of your accounts that you are testing ARGA on would be banned …

no, it gets data from the client, which is normally getting that data, the client needs to know where the tree is to draw it on the screen, so arga looks in the client to see the data for where the screen is, and calculates where to click

now i see taios, it reads data from the client, but it doesnt edit it.
