So Ive found this bot called RSBot (yes bad name that sounds like a virus) but its not, its a very fast Java bot, me and Hugo have been talking a lil and he said it was a Reflection bot, I didnt understand but when he started run it he was impressed, heres the thing tho : They have a very bad forum, only 2 admins and no devs or anything, all u need 2 do to get the bot is make 1 post and I wonder if SRL-Forums helps them maybe RSBot can be a little better and maybe even a part of SRL? its just a thougt, also the scripts are all messed up, they dont have sub-forums for Fishing, Cooking, WC'ing ect.

RSBot = Ban for your users because it hacks the Java client.

It changes the runescape client(The thing you play on). Thats why its so fast. But its also a super quick way to ban people.

God damn! why do everything thats fast a way to death/bannage?

The better (in means of speed) = The riskier

Reflection bots aren't worth it any more. They are all the same. No style. Just the same old core with a new wrapper.

Nah its not an instant ban, as theres no actual client hacking - it just reads the information is needs from the client, like KYAB. I've been using rsbot for the past 3 days or so. :)

I tihkn using BCEL to edit the client is client hacking, but that's just my opinion.

Does RSBot actually edit the client or reflect it?

Reflects, thats why I said it doesnt hack it :)

isn't this a old topic? maybe it's different but I've seen a lot of treads of newbies talking about other autoing resources and every one else says they suck. lol

Let me explain RSBot ;).

RSBot is a bot made by Speljohan, Shift and me. BAsh and Illusion are currently working on it aswell. Although I'm the only one who updates it, when RS updates.

It uses BCEL to modify the client, it doesn't use reflection in any kind!
It can be detected with a bit of work, but currently it's not! You don't get banned on it that fast, except if you auto for too long.

Forums aren't perfect, but that's because only BAsh and I tend to keep it clean realy. There are some bad scripts, but also good ones.

It's very fast, faster then any colour clicker ever can be. It can run minimized, without problems and you can run like 20 on a decent pc.

If anyone got questions about it, just ask :P. (No, it won't be part of SRL)

I have no idea why do people want to merge bots with SRL, SRL is a library for SCAR, a color bot. Why would a fully functional bot with Java alone have to be merged with SCAR, - different language and different methods.

If you want to use RSBot why does it need to be in some RSBot folder in SRL's Misc folder like KYAB used to be, since it can be used perfectly separated.

As Qauters himself said, no.

Hmm, I could swear I read on your forums that it was a reflection bot

Never trust what people say on it lol, they don't know it themselves.
Except if, ofcouse, an admin or RSBot developers talks :)

The windows registry? Afaik no. It doesn't contain any RS related information.

Why would RS save information in the registery (like your x/y pos??)

This community will NEVER join another community as we've seen in the past so don't even think about it.

Also, you are all wrong for saying it "bans" you, it is ban-able depending on the script. As it is a new community give it some time so they more efficient at writing their scripts. Also, to Qauters, I see there are MANY leechers at your site, this is common to a normal public community, maybe you could consider making it "private" for a while, until you get a few members that will actually contribute…

But it is a very fast and fun bot to script with I must say.. :)

One of the reasons I prefer java bots, to color clickers, is the way scripting is done. You can do powerfull things, without writing much code. Not to mention the ways to detect things off screen :)

Yeah and the style of writting classes for each skill is really cool and much more organized and easy to re-use if RS changes something.

Could you pm your email? I'd like to ask you something about RSBot :p

Wizzup?
