Jagex has introduced 2 new worlds that can only use quick chat in them.

We have introduced two new worlds for those who prefer to chat, or be chatted to, with Quick Chat. The worlds are 160 and 161. Conventional chat may not be used on these worlds - they are for Quick Chat users only.

I see 2 worlds that will soon be filled with SRL and other macros, these worlds dont need u to talk right? all u need to do is use quick-chat, if you dont need 2 talk most people will now prolly stop press report and bann ur acc.. I will give it 2 days and I bet it will be filled 24/7 when people see how they can abuse these 2 worlds..

Two worlds in which you can not use regular chatting? LOL.

As a matter of my opinion, While this update was probably not directed against autoers it could be exactly that in the long run: Going with everyone's thinking this could be great for us autoers, however, because there are only two worlds with this setup, these worlds might fill up with autoers for that very reason. And thus, if i were jagex i would concentrate on these worlds looking for autoers as they will be drawn to these worlds. So Id just like to say be aware that this could be and evil plot by jagex. haha.
Idk just something i was thinking. Do you agree?

I've got money on this being a test run. Jagex is going to get rid of regular chat.

When I'm doing clan stuff I don't use quickchat… typing is more convenient. Scamming can't happen without chat. You don't need to chat to use the grand exchange. All of these updates are leading towards a less threataning version of runescape. One where swearing and rule breaking is impossible.

They do that and then they will fail. First pking, then trading/merchanting, then talking? What will be the point of playing anymore.

NOTE - We would like to remind players that we have absolutely NO intention of removing free chat from the game, either now or in the future. Quick Chat is designed to be an optional alternative to normal chat.

I think the point of these worlds is just f0r muted people to chat with other muted people. When every world was optional nobody really used quickchat becuase its quicker to say "wc lvlz?" than clicking a bunch of things to say some animated chat. SO yeah, for depressed 3 year olds…

i cant wait till rev 17 i will have fun in thease worlds

How about this line of thinking?

Jagex reliases they actually need macroers to support the runescape sconomy. They fire the head for making so many useless updates.

They then make two worlds just for autoers to induce them back to runescape, but they can't make "Macro World" Can they? So they just say you can't talk in there!

Lol good thinking! I would have never thought of that. Right now, I am doing as Jagex wants and I am macroing in one of those worlds.

This update seems totally pointless to me. Jagex is just trying to make their new chat system seem more important and wanted than it really is.

seems to me jagax is getting more and more communist dictator-ish then anything.. rules here and there restrictions here and there. ….damn maybe they are secretly run out of some crazy tiny comunist country that no one knows about :O:O

someone should make a good quick chat autoresponder, but on the other hand this might be a trap…

That quickchat responder is already made I believe:rolleyes:
