I've played WoW and it's terrible. It's not fun at all. I have no idea why everyone loves it so much.

Xbox live gives you a variety of games that are fun and action packed (Halo 3 ftw). You can also download extra maps and expansion packs free. Live is cheaper and you wont be branded as a loser in school.

WoW, is somewhat addictive, but way too expensive and nerd-ish.

So true. W.o.W has like NO plot to it. All you do is kill things and do "quests"(with no plot) with your "party of friends". Xbox live you have GTA 4, Call of Duty 4, Gears of War, and so many others (not a fan of Halo 3….its gay..).

I really don't see why everyone on earth loves halo so much. It's a generic FPS. There are other shooting games that are better, and somehow far less popular.

xbox live, i was a wow gamer be4 and yes its a bit boring. I have played xbox live a few times its nothing special.

I disagree… I HATE single player rpgs, I am a fan of MMO's myself. I would rather play wow than any other mmo out there. The only reason i stopped was because my lv 70 character was on a very old realm and it was impossible to get into a group for a heroic or raid unless you were in a raid guild. And me and this one guy i met were the leaders of a pwnage social guild. When we started arena and pvp together we felt close, even though we were hundreds of miles away. Then he got this bitchy girlfriend who he knew irl and played wow… he transferred to her server and i was in charge of the guild. After about 2 weeks i got bored and played gears of war PC for 2 months. Then i came here! That's my life in a nutshell for the past year and a half.

WoW ftw, I have avidly played both at one point, from one who has only a little taste of wow it would seem boring but yes, the reason it doesn't have a plot is because warcraft3 describes the plot and WoW is supposed to be the continuation(the present) If you have the money i would say WoW definitely. WoW doesnt end and has multiple different ways to play one can engage in, dont like competition and killing others? They have dungeons, if you do like competition they have things called battlegrounds, and arena. If you are competitive arena is amazing. Be prepared though, end game wow if you are very avid in it takes alot of communication, hard work, and time, just takes alot of thinking, getting used to and skill. I always say wow over halo because their is alot more variety, you are not forced to one thing, if you like melee you can be one thing, if you like range you can be a whole nother thing, your not limited to guns, and a few maps. P.S. yes everyone i know gets a tad addicted at first, but it wheres off pretty soon, but u continue to enjoy it, like runescape wow is updated alot and makes expansions so their players don't become bored.

Keep in mind alot of people will be quite biased seeing as most who play runescape dont play wow and have no or very little experience with it, just like runescapes tutorial island the first few hours is never the best. I play both, so i dont have that natural hate for wow, plus i play halo3.

Is COD4 really that good on the PC? I've heard a lotta people say that, but I can't really see it as a computer game after I have played it on the XBox for so long XD.
