I read somewere for like 3 or 4 days ago about The Simpsons stopping production of new episodes so that the creator of Simpsons - Matt Groening would go to the creator of Family Guy and start help Family Guy out, as far as I know Simpsons and Family Guy are rivals? and also next episode of Simpsons that will released in the US is on the 28th Sep, 08 just if u wana know

i like em both, and no theyr not rivals, american dad and family guy and simpsons are all kinda same team there..thx, now i know not to turn to fox until sept.

Matt Groening is friends and co-producer with Al Jean. Al Jean is one of the Family Guy gurus. It is sad is they stop The Simpsons though.

I know they stopped for 3 months, but will they stop simpsons for real? cuz when they air a new episode over 100 MILLIONS of people watch it! theyd lose daaam much cash

They had stopped production of The Simpsons because there was something going on with the contract with the voice actors. They had to sort that out to see what each is going to make for an episode. I think they make 250k now an episode or something, I can't remember. Lol.

I hope they don't stop Simpsons, its a great show. I normally watch Family Guy anyways though.

They aren't stopping the Simpsons or Family guy. Both shows had season finale's a couple weeks back and so that's when most shows take a few months off before resuming for the next season. Trust me, if Simpsons ended, it would be front-page news of every newspaper.

This guy's 100% Simpsons fan :eek: anyho, a new update has come.. its not 28th sept theyll make a new episode, its 27th :D

I actually like Family guy more than The simpsons. I liked The simpson alot earlier, but now i just cant find it as funny as it used to be.
