i think jagex should secretly allow members to auto but not tell the players. not only would it gain them money because more people would be motivated to get members, but it would motivate people to play longer because not only are they autoing, but they dont get bored of rs as quick cuz they have awesome stats. by banning players they're probably gonna lose $5 a month for each player (i think most people quit after their high leveled main gets banned). either that will happen or it just motivates the person that got banned to auto even more on a new character so they can catch up to where they left off. i think its a win-win situation for jagex. anyway that was my ramble of the day…

Without rules then autoing would be no fun, its that simple, if jagex wasnt constantly making new randoms and trying to thwart us then we would have no fun with scripting…

Actually If they did care about the money they wouldn't have done the massive ban , nor killed all the other bots, actually they wouldn't have ruined the game.
Because most of the bots , asians and all those lvl 3's were members also , you could go to the varrock and fally yews in members world and it was also crawded ofo lvl 3 baldies….

So well it seems that then dont care that much about the money , maybe after that massive ban they realised that half of Runescape were autoers so their earnings went down arround 50% and also all the people who got dissapointed of the updates and cancelled memberships , Hmm lets see, I would say Jagex lost around 65% of their usual earnings :D

So maybe you are right and they realised they made a big mistake that made them lose a lot of money lol…
Oh well, its their money not mine so I guess the only way that Jagex can recover their good profit is giving us back the wildy , and removing those stupid updates….Balanced Trade? BH ? Clan Wars?…Its up to them though…

yeah but they wouldnt tell us it is allowed so we wouldnt really know the difference. and there could still be randoms.

But there would be no need to make good scripts (other than randoms)… i mean you could use movemouse ect without any consequence…

my point is we wouldnt know so we'd still be makin good scripts unaware. besides autoing without consequences just makes it fun cuz u get high leveled fast and enjoy the game more.

I don't think it would take the difficulty out of it, because we would just make far more advanced scripts.
Think of what kind of scripts we would be making if there were no randoms, no color changes, no screen shifts etc.
I've thought of some awesome stuff to make but it would have never worked.
But this would open up new opportunities.

why would a multi-million dollar game suddenly allow cheating… It would completely ruin their reputation amongst other popular online games…

RS-Members are 'allowed' to auto… :D

I think he is reffering to the .5 black mark 10 day ban, and also, we would notice that noone is getting banned for any script but i think we would continue to advance our scripts simply because we enjoy it
