I was thinking if there was any possibility of adding youtube tags so they work like

[TUBE] "Url with the vid" [/TUBE] or
[YOUTUBE] "Url with the vid" [/YOUTUBE]

The code would be something like:

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{content}"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{content}" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

So well , Im just suggesting :p

How would it take Bandwidth as all the requests still go to YouTube? Most likely hasn't been add because it hasn't come up before or too much of a hassle to do so/those who want to don't have access to forum software. I personally agree with Markus that it would very annoying as you would go into topics and see horrible huge videos sticking everywhere. Links are bad enough, but when you want to annoy me by having the huge objects coming up, then I take it personally and set out to destroy you slowly and painfully :)

How? It's pretty much a frame leading to a youtube video (not exactly a frame, but similar).

it be cool i was trying to post a vid than notice no tube tags and i got the code didnt work :)

Well the code has to be added to the website´s BBCode by an admin so it appears :p just like the other tags
