He doesn't need justification… it's his site. He had asked for a torrent on that page, and someone emailed it to him. He thanked the person by putting that there.

a torrent is a series of pieces of a file and you download them from different people to get the whole file faster. or thats what i understand of how they work.

Most torrents are warez, which means illegal documents/files. Torrent is a way of P2P (Person-to-Person/Peer-to-Peer) file sharing, meaning you can connect to a person on the same torrent and they can download the file you're wanting to share, or the other way around.

thats like saying i dont need justification to smoke its my life. i do get what you mean. interesting way to thank someone, i might just do that on my site one day.
