AutoColor Function Writer!

Nava2

2008-05-26 20:23:44

Made by: Cnr Sport and Nava2.

Version: 4.6.

Run on Scar 3.15b and Rev 16.

Simply Press play on the Download file. Then, after the script has been downloaded, open the new script and press play, filling in the instructions.

Pros:

  • EasyToUse function
  • Easier to use than ACA v2.
  • Makes the whole function for you.
  • Option for different uses of RGB, HSL, and XYZ and an easy-to-use form.
  • Allows for returning a color integer, or define a variable for the color to be stored at.
  • Has built-in color picker.
  • Checks for errors in inputted data.
  • Auto-Updates.

For better performance we suggest getting a well rounded color from autocolor.(Getting lots of colors with ACAv2 and then using the best color.)

Screenies during use:

Also, please check the next post for any changes that Cnr Sport may have made and updated!

If anyone knows how to make the MakeTSA procedure better, PLEASE post it. We really, really, dislike having Inc(i) (Thanks RM for telling me about Inc() :)); after each line. If you have another way of doing it tell us. I personally really want to know how to do it :D

Enjoy,

Nava2 and Cnr Sport!

for i:=0 to 10 do
case i of
0: do this
1: do that
2: do other thing
3: do me
4: do you
5: and so on
end;

also Inc(i) is faster than i:=i+1

But would that allow for all of the if then statements and cases, and add the strings? The issue with using a large case was that the number for the strings was dynamic and changed based on the options inputted. So it can't simply be for i:= 0 to 10 do, it has to be for i := 0 to (z which is a dynamic number) do. So that case doesn't work the way we need it to. Thanks for trying though. Also, I was never sure what Inc() did.. does it add 1 to each variable?

ACA v2 does that too XD

Haha, I didn't write that :) Cnr did :rolleyes:

I found 2 errors:

1, you forgot a ; on line ColorToleranceSpeed(2)
2, Even tho i had it set to find it on MS, it prints out: RS_OnMinimap XD

Other than that, it found it after i changed those 2. Nice work!

Hehe, there you go with some suggestions:

-
  Writeln('Couldnt find Color!');
Result := 0;
ColorToleranceSpeed(TCTS);
You only set it back if it fails autocoloring ;)

- I think autocoloring in the mainscreen is a bit useless with this type of autocoloring, this could get the wrong color.
