i felt like making such a post (after getting hi). post a screeny and tell us how you play rs. this includes:
Browser
Os
applications
Plug-ins or extensions

so ill start:

this is using firefox 3 RC1 with extension.checkCompatibility set to false.
on windows XP SP3 in a 800x600 res, its a stripped version and then updated to sp3. i made a dark retro theme to go along.
i listen to ah.fm or Danceradio.gr. windows media player is minimized to tray using RBTray from sourceforge (it allows you to minimize any window by right clicking the minimize botton).
i use Hide menubar and Hide tab bar extensions to save space (i also disable the status bar). i skinned firefox with the nasa night launch theme. almost forgot i use a greasemonkey script to remove the rs navbar for space. and adblock plus.

I was saying that Markus used to have TinyXP installed. He used to use it as main os.

And I guess I'll upgrade to SP3, just haven't had time.

vista has its draw backs and don't bother upgrading since sp1 has practically no improvements in performance. i just read that IE8 is going to be total poop. maybe microsoft should bundle mozilla, for theyr own good. ms is seriously lacking innovation.

Vista home premium, all that jazz.
OH and all you need 2 stfu about vista. If you know how to use a computer you could fix it's issues yourself with 0 effort. And i have never had a single blue screen once. I had so many more problems with xp.

many versions of tiny xp get released regularly like xp performance edition. plus you can update it your self like i did. i had no problems what so ever updating my tiny xp to sp3. i did have one small issue with my printer driver. (got it fixed with a bit of registry editing).

Was a bit too lazy to do so, so I just downloaded a new XP :)

Kind of off topic here but:

Umm what? For one, i have had vista for over about 6 months now and love it. I use my computer an average of 3-4 hours a day. Never a single bsod once. I think i will take my chances with getting a bsod and stick with vista… Seeing as i have a perfect record. Vista doesn't get random bluescreens, contrary to popular beliefs…

I think the BSOD's everybody got were right when vista came out were due to lack of driver support, and were highly exaggerated as some people got them consistently. Now Pretty much every driver is vista compatible. I am not saying that vista doesn't have issues for everybody, but with my experience if you treat your PC right your OS will stay as clean as when you installed it. I don't believe the "progressive degradation" is true at all, YOU cause the degradation. Windows will not degrade on it's own if you use it right.

[BANANA]Lemme ask, What happens to YOU if you are in the middle of something important and get a bsod? :duh: [/BANANA]
I save work regularly. And if i am working with visual c# my work is saved every time i debug and auto saved regularly. I have a habit of ctrl+s after every few repentance when i use a word processor.

[offtopic]You have fine points, I would just like to point out the ratio of Windows BSOD to Linux BSOD[/offtopic]

If you don't mind, I would like to see the source to your program? What language is it in?

Yah, knowing my luck and inexperience with linux i would have alot of problems. But i am always willing to learn 8)

For all that want source, i uploaded to filebeam cuz it's ~500kb. I call it runescape utilities deluxe. it is written in c# and is incredibly sloppy. I made it long ago and kept patching it up with the programming equivalent to rubber bands, paper clips, and scotch tape. It finds worlds automatically and has ALOT of unnecessary code from old versions still in it. Also, i never implemented the calculator.

Here is source, NEEDS TO BE VC# 2005! (doesn't run if compiled in 2008 due to a compatibility issue with IIS 6.0 and java applets.)
DOWNLOAD NOW!

EDIT: The darndest thing jus happened. It stopped working for me. Oh well. I swear it's got so many stitches i don't know where to start on fixing the issues.
