So, what do you think of some emo people and their behaviour and why do you think some do this?

But 'emo-ism' started in Europe?

EDIT2: If emos are all over the place, how come I haven't seen one at all around my neighborhood?

Kids do stupid shit all the time, sadly this story ends in the death of a promising girl… There isnt anything we can do to stop it though… In my opinion emo people have deep emotional problems even if they don't admit it or seem like it…

But seriously emo people are just people looking for attention and create a sob story to do it. I find it extremely annoying cause they think they are the only ones in the world who have problems.

Saw that one coming hobbit. At this point being emo is "Cool" other people do it why not join in. Someone wants attention and it's one way to get it. I agree 100% with what hobbit said. Or we can take the factorizor from his sig and emo people exist because they're not hobbit.

But its negative attention cause no one will really like them because they become annoying sob storys always complaining "Oh my life is horrible" "Oh the world is against me" etc and thenthey get overwhelmed because no body wants to be around them and then they get depressed.

^^This is emo I am talking about, not emo style(clothes…still kinda lame)

Emo's in my opinion are people who want to pretend to kill themselves so they can be like all the cool people. Anyway, most "emo's" in Britain aren't actually emo and just style (dress like emo's) because they're like that…

Now there are people who just dress emo but don't cut themselves and they don't worship death. I think emos can get pretty annoying at times because there is this one emo girl in my school who is in 4 of my classes and every other day she is crying about something and then the counselors come and talk to her and my class. She always blames crap on the earth and of people in my class. So I am not a big fan of emos

I have a small rant prepared for your enjoyment.

Firstly, I would like to say that the above article, while making some valid points, seems like most of the writing of its kind. Trying desperately to make a very important point, but misinterpreting some very important facts that hurt it's credibility. For instance, I'm fairly sure that not all emos expect to go to the 'black parade' when they die. I could be misinformed however.

Now on to the actual emos. These guys piss me off to no end.

The celebration of angst by emos sickens me. There are people out there who are actually suffering, and that is lessened by the faux angst of the emos. They whine, they write bad music and poetry, and they have no zest for life. The whining is just annoying, the bad music and poetry should be punishable by death.

Bottom line: if life is so damn bad, kill yourself and spare us of your whining and bad art.

Yah this one kid in the other class ingraves crap onto his hand(skulls,bones,etc.) He cuts his clothes and totally scares me. On facebook he is always like "***** is very,very angry! or ***** is cutting himself. YAh i'm scared

Most of them are fake, but there are some that have problems, but they refuse to talk about it… leading to suicide.

I dress scene/emo (kind of a mixture, not one over the other) but i don't act any different than any other person. I think the ones that think they have it bad and dont are comeplete… skanks for lack of a better word.
