Yeah i totally agree, USA is way overrated! Not even that good of a country(i mean murders, illegal activity etc.. ! People think USA is center of the world or something. Always USA this USA that.

I think so, teenagers are gonna do it anyway, just tell em to be sure not to get std's and tell em about responsibility, not much you can do after that, teens are gonna be curious anyway…

It's a very good argument since America has one of the highest rates of murder and illegal activity in the world. Sometimes your posts really do make me think you're stupid.

Just wondering, Legendary, how did you even find out about this?

There are hardly any murders in Australia (except for a boat crash under Sydney Harbour), what i mean by that is there aren't as much in Austalia than the US.

No but it wouldnt make sense if he said another country wont it? Fine: "the other countries and maybe the U.S". Cause im sure he wants a festivals like that in the US.

US is 24th on the list of murders per capita. I wouldn't say that is one of the MOST but I do admit that is a lot. But Australia is 43 or something, not that far below America.

So if you consider US near the top, (23 spots away from number 1) then I would consider Australia near the top as well (19 spots away from the US).


Oh and based on just ALL crimes, not just murders…

US is ranked below some of your counties such as the United Kingdom, Finland, New Zealand.

And I do hope you realize why I provided PER CAPITA statistics and not pure numbers. America has the world's 3rd largest population. And it wouldn't be fair comparing crimes in a place with over 300 million people and a place with say…10 million people.

I know I probably shouldn't say this out in the open, because I know the great majority of this community are biased towards America, but I would say we are (or were) pretty blessed.

One small colony from England, way back when, has grown to become one of the most powerful, influential nations in the world? In my opinion, that just screams 'God'.

But nowadays, you ask the random person on the street what they think of the United States and they'll say, "Uh… I think it sucks. Oh, and the president's a dick! [That's the cool thing to say, isn't it?]"

Or, something to that effect…
