SRL Archive - News and General

Well, many rumors have been circulating my name recently, many of which aren't true. I think it's time to say my goodbyes, I feel my presence is not welcome here anymore. I'm sure many people will be delighted at the news of my desertion.

Srl has been a great community, but being 19 in two weeks has lead me to believe I'm getting a little too old for it. The immature attitudes and posts I once put up with I can no longer stand.

I quit runescape when pking died and should have left srl back then.

So this is it, It's been a great place, made many friends. Unfortunately the average age of the user of these forums lies around the 12-13 area. Some of which should not even be allowed on a computer.

I'm sure I'll browse the forums now and again but will refrain from posting.

Goodbye everyone, and thank you.

I would create a 'thank you' list of people, but I think my 'fuck you' list would be bigger, which only shows I should no longer stay. Everyone knows where they stand with me, be it friend or enemy.

I did exactly the same at freddys forums by saying 'Don't download scar, freddys a bad coder!' Clearly meant sarcastically (seeing as freddy is perceived as god of the coders) yet some people still thought I actually meant that (such as bobbarkinator). Crazyness.

^^ it's true, but the sad thing is that people can't read sarcasm in text or any emotion for that matter which makes it hard for people to tell what is really meant in the text which leads to mis-interpretations, which is why talking to them with voice is so much easier :D

we had some good times on vent when we were making Xi pkers and setting up sp0rk-eh.com and such but then rs went all gay and since then not to much interest either but still here :)
