SRL Archive - SRL Site Discussion

I was sending a P.M. to someone, and I put an attachment in, after I hit close window, I got a pop-up, dont really know what it said…. but then I got another…. then another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another a few seconds apart, I think a few said something about the attachment maybe 2-5 of them, but I got like 10-15 pages of the srl-forums.com/forums, maybe because it's my homepage I don't know, but either it kept opening that URL or it kept opening new Internet Explorers, it didn't stop till I just hit end process in task manager for like IExplorer.exe or something like that, at least I didn't have anything important opened, just SRL (meaning any site I didn't know the URL to). Anyone know why this happened? or has it happened to you to? never happened to me before.

I've noticed I've been getting pop-up ads on SRL, and I never have had them before. Maybe they need to money to pay for some of the features and not enough people have donated…

No it wasn't like advertisement popups, it was just new windows opening, it was their own site, the URL was srl-forums.com/forums, not sure if it was purposely opening that specific URL or if i twas just opening Internet Explorers, because with the /forums at the end of the URL is my homepage, so everytime I open the internet it brings me to this site.

I think it was just opening the Internet over and over, but I don't get why, it would've made my computer freeze if it didn't wait the like 3-5 seconds between opening up the windows, it gave me enough time to close like 2 or 3 before a new one came, so I had to hit end process in task manager, or I wouldn't be able to do anything on my computer, and my computer would've most likely frozen.

BTW I don't get the pop-ups for advertisements, I have a pop-up blocker, I didn't even know this site had ads that pop-up, I never saw under the address bar po-up blocked.

maybe you were holding the control key by accident?
